    Is Pyra expensive outdated hardware?

    Several times. Several :D

    Is Pyra expensive outdated hardware?

I would guess that one factor - besides being crusaders on a mission of course :) - is the repetitiveness of it. As Klumpen alludes to above, more or less this exact thread tends to pop up every 3 months or so, and in the end some of the more temporally advanced board dwellers tend to lose...

How to calculate a price for the Pyra

Just checked: My local train/bus traveller card actually covers an area that is one third of the entire country of Belgium. We do have about a third of the population in that area, though, and that's even though this is one of the most populated areas of Sweden. Sweden is a largely empty country.

    Should Pyra have a Camera?

The endoscope attachment: We're not kidding when we say that we transmit videos of your talking...

    The big Pyra keyboard poll

What are you talking about? They most certainly pop up in my "new content" feed. All. Of. The. Time. These threads most certainly do pop up. The fact that not everybody are writing in them isn't because they don't see them, it's because they don't care about yet another bikeshedding thread...

    Should Pyra have a Camera?

      There isn't.

    Is Pyra expensive outdated hardware?

But it sounds the same. Explaining why something ended up the way it ended up, no matter whether you have valid reasons or make them up as you go along. That's why I say the original poster should go back and check the discussions.

    Is Pyra expensive outdated hardware?

Because making a real product, instead of dreaming up an ideal fantasy machine without bothering about limits like cost and size and feasability, is rationalizing. Making a real product entails weighing options, deciding on some and discarding some, and hopefully being able to motivate these...

    [Poll] Case Colour Clarification

Personally, the number of polls and poll options and poll discussions lately is making me consider the coma option.

    The big Pyra keyboard poll

Seems notes are being taken and serious talks are being given, and thus we can unlock this again. Off we go, and remember Rule 0 :)

Classic Pandora as an MP3 -player?

I read the original question: as something that, in effect, asks whether it'd be reasonable to get a Pandora for this reason (If the OP already had a Pandora, s/he would already know the answer).  Thus "Will be" in reference to "When you do get one".  Makes sense to me. It might be a...

    Is Pyra expensive outdated hardware?

...not to mention that the teams writing software for the Vita generally are at least a hundred times bigger than the "teams" writing software for the Pyra will be. On the other hand, the general ecosystem of software already existing in almost-ready-to-run form for the Pyra will be a lot larger...

Classic Pandora as an MP3 -player?

It will be the most ridiculously overspecced MP3player in history, but hey, who doesn't love ridiculously overspecced gadgets? :D

    Is Pyra expensive outdated hardware?

Well, the "scene" isn't exactly in great need of people writing the same "Oh, my good, the Pyra won't have as many megafrotz as a top-of-the-line smartphone, which means it will be OUTDATED"-posts again and again every three months either :) In particular, it is, as many has written, a...

    Is Pyra expensive outdated hardware?

Well, the thing is that you have to remember that there is the mirror image too. I'm happy that I won't have to say "I love my Pyra! I just wish it didn't have this useless stupid camera on it".

    The big Pyra keyboard poll

Since we apparently are having a PM spam campaign about this very topic going right now, I'm going to lock this until further investigated. People, I know we are a bit touch-and-go on rules and so on, but we sort of depend on an implicit basic rule on the boards: Rule 0: Don't be a complete...

No prototypes for GamesCom, but a Wifi Chip and a Pyra in the dark!

No, that is part of what makes me want to bring out the green. You don't do that. Not that it'll do great harm to TrashyMG, but there are those for which it would be a serious problem. That is part of what at least I would consider to be self-evident modern netiquette.  Approaching a discussion...

No prototypes for GamesCom, but a Wifi Chip and a Pyra in the dark!

If there is any need to put in more opinions, I would also call your posts "borderline abusive" or something similar, to a level that few others, including TrashyMG, ever reaches. I would much prefer that you tone it down, and the only reason I haven't seen it necessary to do something about it...
