IIRC, ED mentioned that the rotator chip has just enough internal RAM to store a single frame (well two actually, the original and the rotated one). So it is impossible for it to introduce any delay beyond 1 frame. He also mentioned that the rotator chip is fast enough to do all it's work in...
It's an USB slave (ie. device, not computer) port. Just like the USB/charging port on a cellphone is a slave which is meant to be connected to a PC on the other side via a micro B USB plug:

When connected to a a USB host then it (the...
Someone mentioned in the comments that they managed to raise enough funds from additional grants to replace the embezzled money. Yet they still failed...
Also:
Does anyone else find it weird that 71.3% of the funds they did get was spend on "Wages, Contractors & Expense Reimbursements". Seems...
Dimensions:
Width = 139 mm
Height = 87 mm
Depth = 32 mm
OR
Dimensions: 139 mm (W) × 87mm (H) × 32 mm (D)
OR
Approximately same size as original Game Boy, minus 1 cm along it's longest dimension.
*sigh* Why is it that people on the americas always end up having to wait longer? :(
I do agree that some kind of time shifting seems to be the solution until a stock of units of each version happens.
Nice site for checking bands used by different carriers:
https://www.frequencycheck.com/
Better check the band number rather than frequency. Several band numbers may use the same frequencies, but I think the modem won't work unless the band number itself matches (protocol/modulation/etc might...
Those are most likely test pads (which are on the bottom of the device). Connection to the keyboard is probably via ribbon cable (see connector right besides the test pads).
So many ribbon cables though:

Stick A
Stick B

Also it seems like the keyboard pads might be on a thin...
That's the eMMC. Where the OS comes preinstalled. It's a chip which is on the CPU board itself if I remember correctly.
This community likes lots of ports, specially full sized ones.
This is an alternative to the eMMC, it is also an internal slot under the battery (it's a SIM+microSD combined...
PING
I imagine things have been very busy with the Pyra pre-orders and all (pre-ordered mine already). Just want to make sure this hasn't slipped thru the cracks, I still want to keep my Pandora running as backup/media player/etc.
Oh, didn't know ED mentioned that. I was expecting much higher costs (kinda used to expect higher costs around here ;)).
Still something that can only happen a good few years down the line, if at all. But good, nonetheless. :)
I wonder though, just how easy/cheap an upgrade would be.
Maybe a CPU board swap could be relatively cheap (pay only the price difference, and shipping costs). But a fully new CPU board could be very pricey (half of the Pyra cost, maybe). It's like the battery on an electric car, it's so...
I asked the same question:
Finalizing everything!
Here's the a photo of the daughter board:

Ugh, I accidentally dropped my Pandora in the most silly way: Put in case last night but didn't zip it up, today morning I pick up case and Pandora slips out, LCD is now cracked. :mad:
Had it for 3 years and 3 months and have been so careful! I feel awful. :'(
I checked Dragonbox shop and it...
There's just no perfect solution. Gotta just make do with what is available.
One way is an OS-wide movement, including applications to make the whole UI experience suitable for handheld form-factors (like iOS, Android). But that means giving up on previously existing software, because legacy...
On my specific case, I use mouse on Pandora only to access the Configbutton menus (Turn on/off Wifi, Bluetooth, etc) and disconnecting from a bluetooth device. Those two things don't have a keyboard shortcut I know of.
Everything else is done with keyboard shortcuts:
Launch Audacious: Pandora...
