It's the details that take longest (Part 3)

Why so much love for the 3DS ones? It's not like nubs are an awesome pieces of technology with multiple point of failure so that the team wouldn't be able to determinate if they are reliable or not and would have to rely on Nintendo. And it's not like you guys have tested tons of nubs and 3DS...

Pyra as a Game Controller, Keyboard and Mouse.

I thought Trashy was talking about that. I think there is inevitably some specific exploitation... even if I can't think precisely about one now, but if there isn't an easy way to make it, it probably not worth the trouble.

Pyra as a Game Controller, Keyboard and Mouse.

I know but it isn't resulted, the idea is to use directly the keyboard and control as if they were external keyboards which you unplug to the Pyra and plug on a computer, I believe it would be more efficient than emulating for an advanced software with controller+keyboard+mouse via...

Pyra as a Game Controller, Keyboard and Mouse.

To use Pyra as keyboad and mouse for a computer or a tablet, and as game controller for pc or consoles, via usb and bluetooth would be a great feature. Can something be done on the Pyra at a hardware level to allow that easily?

It's the details that take longest (Part 3)

Stick click can't be compared to the one from xbox360 or ps3 since it's a flat nub so it's like pressing a regular button, I want stick clicks for mouse clicks. Also, according to ED, magnet nubs are very durable (virtually indestructible) and accurate. If a disc can be build, a larger disc can...

It's the details that take longest (Part 2)

Oh yeah a 5,2 inch screen would be good for my eyes health. Also the way a bigger screen almost fill all the space looks cool.

It's the details that take longest (Part 1)

Thanks for the update, a post everyay, nice! I don't really need a stylus so...  I'd prefer a classic stylus because it's more sturdy so that I could use it as a weapon. Also no metal part please it will add some weight to the device, wait... a metal weapon would be more effective but I still...

The long road to a final unit

I will not use the touchscreen, I hate to touch the screen because it cover it and soil it that's one of the reason I don't like smartphones, also you have to release the Pyra with one hand. I will master the left nub as mouse with action buttons as clicks, left nub to move the page and center...

And now for something completely different (Keyboard Option)

Or you can push one key to lock shift on your pc... why would you want to lock Ctrl? What I would whish on a normal PC is to have two spare finger which can hit any modifier keys whenever I want... just like with modifier on shoulders. To me it's obvious that modifier keys should be shoulder...

    Some GamesCom Retro-Area pictures

I want an antenna like that for my Pyra for 3G, is it hard to do?

Name of the extra modifier (Fn/Meta/Sym/...)

After reflection not Pyra because a keyboard modifier isn't related to Pyra, Pyra is the whole device a button named Pyra should lead to something that have to do with the whole device like a menu. Pyra as a modifier  makes no sense.

The Pyra case should have this colour as an option!

I also prefer black or dark colours but the drawback with dark colours especially black is that when it is into sun it becomes very hot... that's my only concern.

The Pyra case should have this colour as an option!

That work coat blue is one of the ugliest colour to me. That would be awesome: elegant, original, discreet. And it fit the Pyra well because there is some red in it and it is retro.

    The big Pyra keyboard poll

You could click while moving the mouse and that would be more intuitive, also right nub could be used as center click which is very useful while you're on internet for opening links, closing tabs and on various software, also for copy past. I see, but on internet scrolling is more comfortable...

    The big Pyra keyboard poll

A keymat is a keymat, action buttons are action buttons, PgDn or anything are extra functions and we should chose what we want. I don't see the utility of having PgDn/PgUP while the right nub is scrolling (how can you see one?), so I will use them as mouse click and I don't want these labels...

    The big Pyra keyboard poll

Please no. At least not on action button, for (a lot of IMO) people who want to use them for another purpose and/or who don't want to see these ugly labels on their gaming area: Home/End/PgUp/PgDn.

And now for something completely different (Keyboard Option)

The lower part of the thumb is a bit biggger and less accurate than the end especially when you are using the end to hit others keys at the same time, and I though you was understanding why space have to be hitted without moving to much the thumbs since you said Anyway your assertion are...

And now for something completely different (Keyboard Option)

I disagree it makes sense if you want to hit the button with the lower part of your thumb without hitting anotherkey and it can adapt to various type of hand. But maybe the best choice would be to put a single-width at the extremity so that everyone can hit it with the beginnig of their thumb...

And now for something completely different (Keyboard Option)

+ and - is part of the number board on the left space layout, ( ) is needed indeed but it's useful in normal using too (can be switched with another parenthese but it will be useless in a normal board) Anyway it can probably be improved, if ED choose it he will find his best layout I am wary of...
