I am seriously considering buying a dingoo because it has a better port of VICE than either the Wiz or Caanoo and the C64 is my favourite 8 bit computer but what is emulation like of other 8 bit computers Amstrad CPC,Atari 800/XL,Spectrum,MSX etc as compard to the Wiz?
I know that newer Dingoo...
Thanks for the reply, The major reason I want a Dingoo is for C64 emulation. The only other thing I'm concerned about before I purchase a Dingoo is the screens on the new models. I don't want to derail the thread but I have read on the Dingoo forums that the new models have the ILI9338 LCD and...
Is the Vice emu on dingoo full speed with sound in all the games with realsid on? The GP2X version suffered from anoying pausing, skipping and out of sync sounds on demanding games with realsid on, Does the dingoo Vice have these type of problems as well?
I know this thread is over a year old but I thought it would be better to post here than start a new one, just want to know if the Wiz is still in production or has been discontinued as many sites are out of stock?
This might not be a popular choice but a used GP2X in good condition is quite cheap these days. A lot of users hated it but many loved and use it as I do. It's still got the best software library of any other open source handheld at the moment and many of the great handheld emu's were developed...
Back in the GP2X days someone called antidark released a neogeo set for the GP2X which worked with GP2X gngeo. Is this gngeo 0.7 pack that antidark set?
Reesy, could you port this emu to GP2X? I know there is a good sms emu available but it would be nice to have another one, especially since your megadrive emu was one of the best until picodrive showed up.
I love and still use my GP2X and intend to do so for as long as it lasts. The release of Wiz, Cannoo and Pandora have pulled devs away from the GP2X, and there is hardly anything released anymore. I know that Exophase is working on Temper but are there any other Devs still working on emu's...
It's a good price and am tempted to buy one but I am in UK and am a bit worried about paying customs/import tax? Has anyone in UK bought a handheld from them?
