Trying to find a fair solution

Sadly, for the foreseeable future, I can only afford to pay the 100 euro 1GHz upgrade option from the survey. I'd still be willing to wait for that, but if that's not an option any more (and even though a certain someone more or less started insulting me for having this opinion in a previous...

    a problem with yahoo email

well that's disappointing... what bugs me is that this is the second way the person has given me to stay in contact with them that I can't use due to factors beyond my control (they prefered to use text messaging, but my crappy prepaid phone, apparently isn't actually sending out my text...

    Final preorders, action required

Well, I'd prefer my Pandora 2 to be able to play PlayStation 4 games :P , but yes, lets focus on Pandora 1 for now. :)

    Final preorders, action required

I'm torn between 3 of the options: ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~- I'd love to get a 1GHz unit as fast as possible, but I do not want to pay more than 100 EUR / 85GBP / 130USD for it. Money is kind of tight for now, so I wouldn't be able to afford to pay much more than that for an upgrade...

Can a soft-modded PlayStation 2 play import game discs?

Firstly, I just want you to know, I try to learn what I can before I start asking questions, so there will be some things I'll know and some things I won't. Well, I don't actually have my PS2 anymore =(... I was looking to get a "new" still-sealed slimline model(I have a decent library of...

Can a soft-modded PlayStation 2 play import game discs?

or do you still need a mod chip or swap magic disc? ...also, is there anything interesting you can do with a soft-modded PlayStation 2?

It's the Final Countdown - ED's Queue Cleared - OP GmbH have 0 outstanding pre orders!

You know, DREDD, there are MANY, highly unpleasant things I'd like to say to you in response this, but I don't want to get banned from these forums, so I'll restrain myself.

    apparently mythical cable...

So you're aware, I've got a DVI-I(female port) output graphics card, and I'm getting a monitor that has a DisplayPort(female port) input(the monitor does have other inputs, but I already have plans for them). For my purposes, will a DVI-D male to DisplayPort male cable work/fit in a DVI-I female...

    apparently mythical cable...

I've seen that first one as well, but it looks like DVI-D... and though the second one is DVI-I it's female instead of male...I suppose I could then get a DVI-I male-to-male cable("they" do make those, ...right?), but I was hoping to leave out as many interconnects as possible and keep things...

    apparently mythical cable...

Has anyone ever heard of a DVI-I male to DisplayPort(full-sized) male cable, or a DVI-I male to DisplayPort(full-sized) adapter? If either of those exist do you know where I could acquire them?

    So where is Craig?

*...hiding like a coward, drinking himself sick, and making crappy little gewgaws with his super-expensive(and apparently self-destroying) reprap2(<-where'd you get the money for THAT, Craig? hmm?) because of the intense shame he feels for letting down everybody who spent so much of their...

PCSX ReARMed - Dumping Subchannels/Libcrypt etc.

Though I haven't tired it yet myself(still waiting for my Pandora...), if you don't mind working with a Linux command line interface, here is a (PandoraWiki) step-by-step guide that, I'm assuming, should accomplish what we're both looking for. good luck! :)

Okay, so, it's 2013. Any new news regarding Craig's 1ghz preorders?

At the risk of keeping this thread on anything approaching "on track"; regarding the a/v cables...has anyone tried contacting the people at BlueJeansCable.com to see if they might be interested in working with "us"-id est-> ED to make them happen? From my (probably very wrong) view, it seems...

    New Shoulder Button Idea...

You know, it has always struck me a bit oddly, how the Pandora is often showcased with a display of "look how well all these PSX games run on Pandora that you can play with built-in REAL GAMING CONTROLS!!!!!!!! :o :o :o :o :o ." Yet the Pandora is missing that often very crucial dynamic...

    FTL: Faster Than Light

FTL: Faster Than Light, for those that are not aware is a space-faring rogue-like where you manage a spaceship and its crew. Here is a decent view of what the game is like: https://www.youtube.com/embed/P-SnIhpCm5w?feature=oembed The system requirements on the official website(the top...

More Pandora 2 crap (MicroSD Split)

A much lauded feature of Pandora is its PSX emulation...I REALLY hope Pandora 2 has all 4 shoulder buttons, even if in a horizontal configuration (and maybe click-able analogs for L3&R3 if possible) to fully take advantage of it. Worringly, this isn't even really being discussed by OPT.

    Pandora 2 is Modular

no individual modules, a million modules.....I just hope they find a way to stick a second set of shoulder buttons on there, even if it is horizontally like the nintendo classic controller or that neo geo portable thing(maybe click-able analoges as well if at all possible). That way finger...

    Pandora 2: Battery

Actually, the screen on my Cowon iAudio U3, 2GB version(they came out in October 2005, I probably got mine, like, 2006-maybe early 2007) is perfectly/fully visible with or without backlight even in glaring, direct sunlight. ...I just wish I'd picked up a couple of the 4GB units before...
