It's not anyone's fault but this isn't surprising, not enough users have received units so anyone doing develop struggles to get feedback. It's hard to stay active as a user on a board for a product you don't have.
I'm in the same position, I got my email yesterday and completed the order (after being a bit dim finding my voucher code). Went with black though. Seems like a there's a few new Pyras on there way out there.
