Pyrainput (FunKeyMonkey plugin + pyrainputctl) design

Background Pyra uses a daemon process for turning raw input events from several input devices into a virtual keyboard, gamepad and a mouse. The daemon is an instance of FunKeyMonkey running the pyrainput plugin. The plugin is configured by /etc/pyrainput.cfg that can set stuff like what the nubs...

    Tales of an Assembly

Been using that one (and yes it's upside down). Sometimes it blinks the power led a minute or so, then starts charging. Dmesg says HOT every now and then which I assume is the culprit. I'll try to get the battery full once before doing much else to have a better basis for testing.

    Tales of an Assembly

Shoulder buttons are nice and clicky. The keyboard feels really nice. Charging seems a bit wonky but that was to be expected. Going to take a while to set up my usual environment so haven't tried any games yet. Can't seem to do so on mobile with the attach files doodad. I mean I can embed it in...

    Just a quick heads up

The full answer is of course a lot more complicated (everything always is) and I can't spend too much time explaining my understanding of it in detail (not an expert either), but this paper seems to answer your question more thoroughly, including matching measurements to the model presented...

    Beauty competition.

They spread heat from small hot components to a larger area for more efficient dissipation. Compared to heat sinks they don't have much heat capacity, so the total heat flow must be something that area can get rid of. Sometimes IIRC they're also used like cheaper heat pipes to transfer heat to a...

You didn't expect this, I guess.

Nah, they just usually get a boost in response to other parties reducing social programs on their turn, then when SocDems gain power they end up not getting much done at all. They're not actively harmful to their ideology, just disappointingly inefficient at going about it. People want quick...
