    One week with the Pyra

Sure, as it is an additional layer the light have to pass through. But it can also affect it in a good way. As said, some graininess will achieve a matte look, reducing annoying reflections. It is a comparison video. As it seems first Pandora, then Pyra, then both. I agree, especially scaled...

    One week with the Pyra

The problem is not the LCD, but the touchscreen - which is good, having to search another LCD would be a really big problem and a massive setback at this stage of the developement(the whole sync-/rotating-/potential tearing-stuff again).

    One week with the Pyra

Well, ED said reworking the 1000 assembled screens would probably cost 5 000 to 10 000 $, so if he would not want to loose more through discount that would just be -5$ to -10$ per unit. I doubt that such a small discount would attract that much customers. Of course, the oppurtunity to sell it...

    One week with the Pyra

That's what I really appreciate about this developement. Not only you are keeping us up to date, but you are also informing us about troubles in time. A big thanks for this honesty! The touchscreen issue is really unfortunate, especially as is might slow down developement and increase...

It's yummy. But you can't eat it!

The ram is on the cpu board, so a cpu upgrade can be a ram update at the same time.

It's yummy. But you can't eat it!

OK, so I just made a suggestion. Colors are just used for question for clearly existing/non-existing features, if their existence is not relatively obvious (e.g. Ram,CPU). I also tried to use pastel-colors instead (wikipedia color scheme). for Free software system(no without yes), Microsoft...

It's yummy. But you can't eat it!

I just tried out to modify the chart a bit, with more neutral, wikipedia-style coloring. Right now I'm just at the preview page, because I'm not sure if I just should submit it without asking, the change is quite big. Should I just submit it (as it could be reverted) or better copy it on my...

The World's First 5.5 Inch Handheld PC/Gaming Console Based on Windows 10 System.

Well, both will be buyable from Dragonbox Shop. At least that might reduce the risk of critique a bit. Thats's why I would like the comparism to look as neutral as possible, - to avoid the "look how superior the pyra is"-vibe more to a "that's how the keyboard handhelds available from...

The World's First 5.5 Inch Handheld PC/Gaming Console Based on Windows 10 System.

That may do it. Maybe with a greyed-out-effect. The other way around could also do the trick: Green for yes, red for no and the rest simply neutral (that's basically the color scheme of many wikipedia comparison charts). That way the colors only would be used for things that are absolutely clear...

The World's First 5.5 Inch Handheld PC/Gaming Console Based on Windows 10 System.

I know. But red also stand for "very bad". Like I said, I was talking about the signals. Yep the problem with orange is that in this chart, it is reserved for "not missing, but the worst of all three". So as pandoras succesor, it is almost impossible for the pyra to have anything at orange...

The World's First 5.5 Inch Handheld PC/Gaming Console Based on Windows 10 System.

I did' not question that, indeed he did a good job. But I think it doesn't matter if the colors are justified, it's more a matter of the signal the chart might send. Right now, the GPD win has 6 red cells while the Pyra don't have a single red one (And I have to admit that I don't know how to...

The World's First 5.5 Inch Handheld PC/Gaming Console Based on Windows 10 System.

Maybe the cells shouldn't be coloured at all, to get the chart as neutral as we can. Otherwise someone can get the impression that the chart might be designed to let the pyra look as good as possible. E.g someone might complain that thickness would be more important than width for someone, or...

It's yummy. But you can't eat it!

Speaking of the upgradeble CPU-Board, I think this is one important thing that needs to be on the specs page, rather than being "hidden" in the wiki and the forum. Also the word "replacable" should be added to the battery sentence (I understand that this was not neccesary at the point and...

It's yummy. But you can't eat it!

It might do, expescially the "warp effect" could be dangerous. Btw it is more a question if you are photosensitive, but those who are should better not play this and similar games (there are some that are visually even more stressful) Well, a light-triggered seizure depends on many factors...
  15. Blue Shadow

It's yummy. But you can't eat it!

As far as I understand it, the problems would be the molds. You can add material relatively easy by removing material from the molds. But if you want to to remove material from the case, you have to add something to the mold. If the need of ventilation slots may occur, you perhaps can solve that...
  16. Blue Shadow

It's yummy. But you can't eat it!

But rounding the edges could make the Pyra even thicker (as adding material is easier than removing), so I'm not sure if thats a good idea. Global font sizes are tricky, as it may depend on the app and at least on the toolkit the app is using. That was one of the reasons why ED preffered a 720p...

    And suddenly it works.

Well personally, it puzzled me that you insisted it the keyboard would look escpecially german, although being qwerty, although there are as much french charackters as german ones. So I didn't get it why you did not say "german/french" or better "qwerty with some foreign characters(as there are...

    And suddenly it works.

Such an overlay might help if one like to change the layout, though I'm not sure if there is enough space between the Keys for readable Letters. From the renders, it looks like the gap would be somewhere between 1 and 2 mm. Also the alternative layout next to the original one might be...

    And suddenly it works.

Grench already pointed the most things out, so just a few words, And as I said, german keyboards are using QWERTZ, so also no QWERTY. So I really don't understand why you insist it would mainly be a german keyboard, but not at least as much french. Why it actually is much more a universal...

    And suddenly it works.

@oskda: not sure why you are shouting so much: you are also mixing up germanic and german as it seems (btw english is also a germanic language) and missing out that there are also french letters on the keyboard. A sticky fn key is not so much different to a dead key. And both are additional...
