@Djoga'Ro I'm not sure if this should be a some kind of humour, but please delete or rephrase your second sentence in the brackets below the measurements
Well my point was that the Pyra does not contain any uniform rectangular boxes. So while mathematically correct, your notation would be at least as misleading as the one you wanted to correct (probably more I guess, as the other one is common). Because the 3,2 value is not there to refer to a...
Well, the pyra also does not consist of roughly 120 of 3,2cm³ units that are maybe arranged in a 13,9 x 8,7 grid (so some of them would be incomplete), what 13,9 x 8,7 x 3,2cm³ would imply.
like I said, the title is already pretty long. If it will be even longer, it will not be completly readable anymore at the overview page. Have a look at the german shop page(change language at the top right), where this is already the case.
For example "Pyra Vorbestellung (Mobile Ed...
I suggested to add "preorder" to the article title before, but that was also before ED changed the description by highlighting prizes and adding info-boxes about the downpayment.
So it looked like it would be sufficient as well. But as it seems the fact that it's a downpayment is still...
There is a "modified" column on the right side of the file list, where you see something roughly when it was modified, like "2 hours ago". If you hover the mouse over it, you will see the exact date and time. Not sure if it considers the local time zone though
You mentioned that "fill in the blank" thing before but I honestly already didn't unterstand it the first time. To me it seemed it was clearly stated that the 4GB Orders will be automatically be replaced by 2GB orders if no 4GB version would be produced.
And in the german version it is actually...
Nice! small correction:
In the german version, a word is missing:
Das Gehäuse des finalen Gerätes wird nicht transparent und von höherer Qualität sein als beim gezeigten Prototyp.
I did'nt say anything about the license, but you're right, maybe I shouldn't leave the "GNU"-part in the quote as this might be misleading.
edit: I think it's clarified now
Yes, the schematics will be released and modifications are encouraged. (edit: but there was no specific license mentioned yet.)
It is mentioned in the common Info Document in the press kit - howewer it seems this it not yet translated to english.
From the preorder page, just above the list of the final pirces:
So the EU version should be the best in your case
Here you can download the datasheet and check the bands:

I specifically linked this section because there is a pending question in the last posting of the Handheld gnu/linux Thread, and the answer could very well lead to an additional preorder or maybe even more.
The maemo community also seems to be open minded about the pyra. They already discussed about it a bit, but it might be a good idea to make a more comprehensive posting about the it there or just answer some questions of the users. I'm not sure how it looks to create an account just for...
I started to look through and found some minor typos so far (some are also debatable, so those corrections would be rather suggestions)
Wich way do you prefer: board, pn, .odt with tracked changes?
It should be, but it just scans the shop pages so it only can cover the preorder made, without knowing if some of them where also pre-pre-orders.
So 357 in the json script are what the "almost 200" were in EDs tweet
Btw. maybe you could add a "(downpayment)" in the order title so its more clear for people that aren't following this forum.
Of course, it's in the article description and you should better read it before you make such a payment but it might be a good Idea to avoid confusion.
@comradekingu : The flexible payment options can only be used automatically if the price it no more than 200€. If it's higher you have to sign a normal payment plan with Klarna. So it won't come out of knowhere for them.
And as ED said, you can only use that option from germany. And many people...
I like the "raised corners" design of the blackberry keys, as they are more or less combining the advantages of convex and concave keys. That shape makes gliding possibble but at the same time the fingers are guided a bit and it is a less likely to accidantly hit the wrong key.
But I guess it...
