Update regarding the cases (and some other things)

That's right, but at least there was a short apology afterwards from raelik. You on the other hand, offended other people multiple times, even stated ED is lying, wich is a pretty heavy accusition (especially as lying requires not only untruth, but also intent.) Some of your offends can easily...

Update regarding the cases (and some other things)

Please don't fan the flames! The discussion seemed to calm down a bit just now. I can't see more insulting would lead us to anywhere.

Update regarding the cases (and some other things)

Now you are getting really childish, don't you? Not that being being like a child is bad. But so far, I only saw the complaining, iff, grumpy side of it in your commentary. What about the excited, enthusiatic, cheerful side of childishness?

Update regarding the cases (and some other things)

it seems you are confusing early estimates with due dates. Even if the first part of that sentence was true (assuming the second part of the sentence was a joke instead of an insult), the difference is he is doing it, making constantly progress and having endurance, which seems to be a key...

    Test the keymat!

Do you want to prevent man-in-the-middle attacks like intercepting mail communication, or just prevent that all participants (except the one who needs it) can read all adresses? Because if it is the latter, this should be already be the case if I understand it right: - Only ED will know all...

I wish you could feel things through the internet!

Well, ED said in the "Quite a bit.." newspost it was originally designed to be rolled four times. So it might be that the cable was designed to be rolled 4 times, but he did it 3 times anyway because it was easier and maybe already planned the change.

How about a full sized DragonBox branded keyboard using Pyra parts?

I doubt you could hold that keyboard in hands a long time period without getting uncomfortable. Especially your first version, where the center of mass would be in front of your hands. Your second version probably would work better, but there is still the weight problem. Mechanical keyboards...

    We've started to order things!

Err... which seemed to be your very second post on this forum. btw. at that time, there was not those harsh reaction yet. I would guess, it is basically about mass and onesideness of most of your comments. I can't confirm that this board would dislike critique per se.

News from the meeting at GC

So far I did not see anyone that fit that description in this thread. I think it is mainly a matter of perspective. But exaggerating in any direction don't help.

Plus it is actually 12 layers, not 10.

News from the meeting at GC

Wich is actually less than 2 weeks before. But the point, and imho the reasons of the some harsh reactions to your postings is: At the "full steam" - thread, wich was overall a very promising one, you stated it was "very, very bad" news, because another prototype run (which would be a...

    GPD Pocket

Yeah, the trackpoint position seems to be a bit odd. Trackpoins are meant to move the pointer without having the rearrange the fingers from the normal typing position. But to acheive this here, the closest thing in reach your are thumbs instead of your index fingers. And in this case, the thumbs...

    Surprise Attack!

It depends. Personally, for me it will be a portable personal computer, for all kinds of stuff. There is still the possibillity of using x86 emulation, most commonly using qemu or exagear. Of course that will come at the cost of a reduced performance. Howewer, even on the pandora (I also don't...

    Running x86 Applications?

The CPU uses the ARMv7 architecture, so the generic ARMv7 version (on the "other" tab) should be the right one.

    Last known issue fixed

Many Phones are not even able to boot/run from any external source without the battery. So with an empty battery you often have to wait a while before booting, until it is charged a bit. The number of Phones that are able to run from a 500mA USB without a battery should be even smaller. (edit...

    Travelling to Vienna

@second exodous Yeah, additional gift vouchers (but not two preorder vouchers) is what was suggested on the preoder faq page. But as bitibyte was talking about buying one pyra with two voucher, i just wanted to clarify that different kinds of vouchers were meant. So one pyra preorder voucher...

    Travelling to Vienna

If you mean two preorder vouchers - Technically, that should be possible, but could be problematic if many would do so (as it would distort the predictions) A better way is to just buy enough gift vouchers equivalent to the remaining payment.

    Just preordered...

Well, someone will have to produce it. Right now, the hinges for the pyra are from the same company that also produces the ds hinges - problem is, their multi-lock hinges are only sold to nintendo. But as said, it's probably a good idea to just wait and see if you would need multi-lock at all...
