But the armies in Ukraine keep using it all up, apparently. I meant politically. At the beginning more or less all USA politicians were happy to help Ukraine, now the number of legislators thinking it twice seems to have increased. But I don't know how it will end, so yes, maybe it's just...

New copper cases are finally being assembled

Not so grave, it's just that I may forget things that were already explained. Hopefully someone else may remind me ? But the coating had any other function apart from aesthetics ? I know people want pretty things (except me, I prefer my gadgets to look as cheap as possible to stand a lesser...

Says the committe from a Congress still without speaker. But very appropiate for Friday the 13th. The USA are having a relatively hard time keeping up the supplies to Ukraine, let alone fight Russia and China at once. I can imagine USA government and Congress expanding expense in weapons, but I...

Soldiers or civilians ? Maybe. I don't believe any number on deaths. Ukraine claims 283900 Russians dead (that's soldiers, not civilians, not sure whether that's including disabled Ukranian Pravda and NATO should be spreading similar propaganda, so that'd be deaths), so that'd mean nearly 2...

Did he elaborate ? I'd say that's wrong, but I'm aware I'm working from biased info and propaganda. Who knows ? Maybe I just don't get it because I only understad Joshua "the only way of winning is not to play"

Re: too many bloody wars. Maybe a song would help. It's called "La gent vol viure en pau" (people want to live in peace). I don't know but there might be translations somewhere, it's an old song now. If not programs should get it right, it's very literal.

    The Communication Cube

I said half of the world against USA, so the other half was for, as you say. The USA were welcome by some in some places and not welcome by others in other places. And the USA exerced influence were it could, not just were it was welcome, so it earned badwill/mistrust over the years.Those...

    The Communication Cube

Armies do need food too. They can steal it, but they don't work so well if they have to fight another army and steal instead of just fighting. Well armies don't work well, that's an oxymoron, but hopefully you get what I mean. Half the world has been willing for decades to get rid of the USA...

This was just a warning. Next time the cat is going to ask for Friskies or fish for ransom. 4 hours outage in a hospital after a cat walks on the technician's keyboard.

    Raspberry Pi 5

100% agreed, but I don't know any other name. Yes, It is so clear that it makes me more upset when they try to sell me their schemes. Nobody on earth would devise such a complex system where a CPU will hash code and validate cryptographic signatures before even activating RAM when they could...

    Raspberry Pi 5

Thanks for the useful info you provide. Well, it doesn't explain much. The code being in EEPROM or SD is not very important. It's nice that it is not encrypted, but it can still be signed, and I don't know if the bootrom will check some signature. If it does, you won't be able to run your own...

OK, apparently I was wrong. There seems to be some free software drivers for Rapsberry Pi 5 GPU

    Raspberry Pi 5

I don't know. My intuition is that Mali will be easier to work with than whatever there's for Video Core, but I'm not really sure. Maybe there's somethign for VideoCore that I'm not aware off. From what I know the problem with RK3588/RK3566 is "only" when you want to build you're own u-boot...

    Raspberry Pi 5

Which Orange Pi ? Orange pi 5 with a RK3588S ? Last time I checked that needs blobs for RAM init, no source for TF-A and maybe some other blob that I don't remember. RK3566 (Orangi Pi 3B, Orange Pi CM4) is similar, I think. Mali should work fine either now or in the future, but the boot chain is...

    Raspberry Pi 5

Will it? I thought the bootloader tended to be a blob for the GPU ? Is it usable with 100% free software now ?

How to Develop/Port for the Pyra as Noob

I have no printable opinion on that. But I was so young when I learnt of intercal, than I still fondly remember my laughs.

How to Develop/Port for the Pyra as Noob

But I meant some A before B. Your A is from 1985, B is from 1969 and C is from 1972. So that A is not a precursor for C. C was named C because there had been B, but B wasn't named B because of the A (an APL) you say. B was named B because of BCPL ("Basic Combined Programming Language" is not a...

How to Develop/Port for the Pyra as Noob

I know there was a programming language called B, before C. But I didn't know there was a language called A ? Or would that be just assembler? I don't think knowing assembler or B is needed for portign (assembler wouldn't hurt, but there're useful things to do without it, I think).
