Geht schon, aber leider nur mit dem Alt auf der Tastatur, nicht auf der Schultertaste. Schultertaste ist rechtes Alt, was im ersten Augenblick logisch erscheint, aber dann doch wie hier eher Probleme macht.
mkdir build; cd build; cmake .. -DPYRA=1 -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=RelWithDebInfo; make
Außer GL4es... was auch...
I don't know about standard practice, but how would that even go down? Doing it would be distribution-specific and at that point you'd be providing package files instead where the package manager would take care of the dependencies.
Checking for presence of the libraries or otherwise handling it...
NSMB runs fullspeed on my Pyra, with high-res 3D enabled. Also goes way past fullspeed when I accidentally unlock the framerate by slipping over the backspace key.
Do you have GL4es working as it should on your device? Drastic seems use OpenGL to at least bring the final image on the screen...
On my Pandora I can just put one in after the other. I feel like that's also the natural way to do it.
This doesn't work on the Pyra as the fit is too tight. How Wally did it surprised me since I was totally sure I'd break the cover on mine if I did that. Inserting both together works, but even...
Speaking of the lid, is there a way to change the on-lid-closed behavior? Currently it simply locks the desktop (which I don't even want) and doesn't even turn off the screen. It's certainly not connected to the lid settings present in Mate at least.
I've not been able to reproduce it the same way as yesterday yet, but there has been similar behavior under load at least. Nothing keyboard related, moving windows around made it quieter (extra load from compositor if I had to guess). After a bit of messing around, the volume isn't really coming...
Hardware accelerated 3D is working in the current OS with these instructions: https://pyra-handheld.com/boards/threads/production-pyra-photos-videos-thoughts-thread.99139/page-7#post-1676896
Only the GL4es and LD_LIBRARY_PATH steps are necessary, the rest is already in place with the current...
I've been getting audio volume fluctuations (usually quieter), presumably under load but not always. In those situations, holding any keyboard key would increase the volume a bit until letting it go as well.
Is that behavior known? I know software state for audio is pretty basic, but this isn't...
Are there really no GLES1 headers in Debian Buster anymore? libgles1-mesa and libgles1-mesa-dev were last available in Stretch, so mhm.
I suppose I could thrown in these headers manually and link to the 3D driver provided lib (if it's actually there, haven't tried yet). Or GL4es of course and go...
I did work on some Nub Settings UI back in 2016. Reading and restoring the real settings does of course not work with the current system. This could be made to work again with not too much effort, but I'd happily let someone more eager roll their own instead. I have other stuff to work on too...
"Man, these 23 people must all be having fun with their Pyras without sharing anything!"
Fine, I'll share my experience so far:
Edit:
Complaining on the Internet always works. It's moving now and is scheduled for tomorrow.
It does multiple desktops/windows at once, but only on the same machine if you mean that by "more than 1 system". This is PCVR so it's not streaming or anything. Nothing stops you from streaming to your desktop and then mirroring that though.
I don't think there's much of my target audience on this forum, but I'm in the mood to share this project around right now so I'll leave it here.
For the past year or so I've been on and off working on a VR utility application to bring desktops (and recently also windows directly) into SteamVR...
I can confirm many units to be indeed shipping today. That includes mine so I can now stop being grumpy about the seemingly slightly out of order shipping notices.
