So games using Easy Anti Cheat (owned by Epic these days, of all companies) will probably work on launch. Or maybe just Rust if it needs individual dev approval, but better than nothing?
One thing that worries on me on that topic either way is if this kind of anti-cheat compatibility will...
Anecdotal and not for sure yet I guess, but for someone who got the loud noise stuff way too often I haven't gotten any in about an hour this session so far.
I put master volume down a bit (70%), turned headset playback to Off for left and right and put all power modes to low power (I swear...
Fellow Pyra historians may disagree. There are earlier recorded signs of the game running on a Pyra in 2018 for example.
Jokes aside, it's good to have it packaged up as DBP. Thanks for your efforts.
Good thing that the Steam Deck is running the new SteamOS 3.0 (yes, three), which is now Arch based and presumably not out of date.
On the software end it seems to be a pretty open handheld PC. The Steam components of course aren't open source, but you'll be able to use it like a portable PC...
You may as well just disregard the right half as it's not gonna be supported down the line anyways. Maybe the same for the top left part as well actually.
There is something like that on the Pyra? It's not like the speakers stop outputting anything when plugging in headphones so I just assumed that output is also always driven (save for manually muting either of course).
Is it actually using GL4es? Don't forget to use the gl4es command if you're using the package from the Pyra debian repo.
What frame rate is the video at? I've been assuming 24/30 fps content. Haven't checked with 60 fps stuff for example.
If it's possible to share the file I'd take a look at it...
Been using mpv as I do everywhere else these days. I don't think I've shared my optimized config yet, though.
ytdl-format=mp4[height<=720]/mp4/best
scale=bilinear
cscale=bilinear
dscale=bilinear
sws-scaler=bilinear
scale-antiring=0
cscale-antiring=0
dither-depth=no
correct-downscaling=no...
It's true that we all know there are issues to tackle and it's certainly not simple. But I don't think not acknowledging specific issues is going to help.
That's interesting. I don't need the microphone on the Pyra so that'd be fine for me. One time it happened it was right after I plugged in...
I'd honestly be for any audio setup change that stops the insanely loud white noise from happening (even with the volume slider all the way down). Happened twice so far and actually made me pretty scared to use any kind of headphones with the Pyra.
Well, that aside the channel setup is still...
Mhm, I won't pretend it never disconnected to me, but not to the point where I'd not use it at all. Latency has never been a problem on my end though. Haven't used it with 8bitdo controllers (and probably won't need to), but with my good old Saitek PS2700 and even Pandora via Master Control (can...
I have a SN30 pro+. Haven't played tons, but when I played it worked like a charm. Using it with a Bluetooth dongle in XInput mode and it's been detected as an Xbox controller just fine. I had one instance where it disconnected all of the sudden (not a massive problem, got it reconnected in a...
I want to execute applications from SD card which otherwise would have no issue running from that file system (Box86 stuff being primary target, but doesn't really matter). I want to be able to copy my own code over from a Windows PC, compile it straight on the SD card and run it, as I've done...
Here's something I thought should be simple, but apparently nobody on the internet seems to know or maybe it's very specific on the current setup. Let's make it a Pyra question then.
How do I set the executable permission bit for auto-mounted FAT32 SD cards? And no, I'm not looking to change the...
Tip of the day: Shovel Knight runs fullspeed via Box86 and gl4es on the Pyra. Plays perfectly fine too. There may be a little bit of vsync oddity here and there though (not that Pyra output is vsynced in the first place). I think using legacy vsync mode in the game's settings is a bit better...
Is it? My own code has zero issues going fullscreen with SDL2. I don't have time to compile and debug your code on my Pyra right now, but I've taken a quick glance over it at least.
There were a few things that stood out to me. Can't say for sure if they're inviting trouble and I admit I've only...
I'll be honest and say going through each appdata dir and pasting a profile file there after noticing that my config got overridden sounds like a pain in the butt. Can still be a thing of course, but how about a single switch that gives me the power to say no package should override my input...
