You got it running? I'm getting the same error in these P* emulators.
asimov@asimov-pyra:~$ dbp-run-path /media/asimov/SD16/dragonbox/packages/pgen-6.05.0.02.dbp

Looks very good. Sadly I'm unable to make it run.
First it complained about not having libglew.
I installed libglew2.1 and upgraded system but still not working. This is the output running from CLI.
asimov@asimov-pyra:~$ dbp-run-path /media/asimov/SD16/dragonbox/packages/psnes-6.05.0.02.dbp...
Ok I wanted to check the four point connection mechanism. And @FBnil was right. Is hard to see but the lateral of the switch is not metallic.
And as he says circuit closes between upper and lower contacts when pressing the switch.
It worked like this in all shoulder buttons. And when I tested...
You have got the VMU files within the folder reicast/.local/share/reciast
I recommend to copy the files to a new one wit different name an then delete the saved games in the original files. This way you don't lose any saved game, you just need to rename files again to acess older saved games...
But there are alternatives in android like pcsx rearmed core for retroarch. That should have options like the double resolution render working.
Me too, but I don't see this happening anytime soon. I saw android at least as a solution to (I agree, unoptimized) software that is unavailable or in...
Thanks for participating in the discussion the forum quite silent lately.
Well most obvious ones are PPSSPP and drastic/dsmume, absolutely not working in Pyra.
Reicast or other dreamcast emulator. The version in Pyra has low compatibility (I mean games not working that appear on the official...
I just wanted to share some thoughts.
I got Pyra to replace Pandora as a overall computer, but focused on emulation. Pyra is very good as a linux minicomputer, but the emulation front is in a very bad shape and without any hope to improve. That said, a million thanks to all the devs that spent...
The only thing I can tell you, because it is quite buried in the forums, is how to test controls at hardware level.
First disable the Pyra service #systemctl stop pyrainput
Then run the input tester #/usr/share/pyra/bin/pyra_test_inputs
Also I noticed exactly the same behaviour when stopping...
@FBnil thanks for the video. I can guarantee you the switch is not a 4 pin switch. The visible solder points are for ground and physical attaching to the board. Checked with the multimeter just in case and confirmed 4 points are interconnected and it is the same with working switches also.
I...
Ok so I booted from an SD card and confirmed that it is hardware related. The button does not work in a fresh install. I'm f****d.
I took out the board and I don't know what to test on the switch. I can only access physically the four contacts that are connected to ground but nothing else...
Is that clear that it is a physical problem? I will dissasmble this afternoon and check but expected to run a vanilla OS from an SD card to confirm it is not software related.
I wanted to try just for android games/emulators. But I don't think anbox will work for those. Therefor I also gave up...
I don't know what is the cause because a few things happened before I noticed.
First, yesterday afternoon my Pyra fell from bed. It was a minor hit but one of the shoulder buttons got stuck in the housing. I don't remember if it was L2 or R2 but it was one of the bigger ones.
Ok so I...
It detects upgradeable packages and seems to download them but in the end it does nothing as @Magic Sam mentioned earlier.
It still happens in version 1.2.1
I understand that none of the preorders will get the new cpu board. There will be new cpu boards when ED delivers all the omap5 he already has. And even with that I expect a gap in time where there won't be available omap5 boards and the new board won't finished.
Just look how long it took to...
If rk3588 is much more attractive than rk3568. I read it's going to be used in a new pine64 board. Is it helpful having another community working with the same SOC?
But please choose the option that is easier to adapt to Pyra. Nobody wants to see the omap15 debacle again (random freezes, screen...
Thanks for keeping the project alive ED. I'm not very excited about the rk3586, but I can understand how linux support is prioritary. If it is better than omap5 regarding performance and consumption I will pay gladly for the upgrade.
I'm much more excited about the production starting again...
