    THE NUMBERS IMAGE THREAD!

The temporary numbers slump largely continues. Standing on 1133: Source: http://marinefe.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/1133-B-3.jpg accessed 2018-09-10.

I predict hoards of ravening news-hungry zombies very soon. I can see them in my mind's eye overrunning the DragonBox Shop.

Ask the Dragon - Date has been set!

All the descriptions of the technology I have found so far are extremely hand-wavy, so I don't know. Originally I thought a magnet in the pen and an array of Hall sensors on the display. But it seems that there is maybe a magloop antenna in the pen that alternately collects energy (transmitted...

Staggering price for that! Considering it is just a wooden pencil with a magnet in the tip, it probably costs no more to make than a regular pencil since it saves the step of putting the "lead" inside.

There are the slim soldering irons called soldering pencils. But that's the only example I can think of of the use of "pencil" to mean a thin cylinder. Edit: And also styptic pencils.

Hmm... not sure. English is a funny language. We say "pen input" and "stylus input" but we don't normally say "pencil input", but we could. And yes, "pencil input" did make me think of a graphite pencil (and I wondered for a moment whether a wooden pencil or a mechanical one would do more...

    THE NUMBERS IMAGE THREAD!

The numbers are slippery at the moment. Time for another train in the snow.

    THE NUMBERS IMAGE THREAD!

Crashed back to 1134. EvilDragon must have had his Dragon Box Shop hat on this evening and processed a few cancellations. Sometimes I think that if all the cancellations that have happened since I placed my pre-order were cancellations of pre-orders made before I made mine (which of course is...

I don't know, but I think we might not be communicating on the same page, here. My understanding of the OP in this thread was that while the RF emission tests were done by a third party as expected, the h/w burn in tests would be done by EvilDragon. I read that "they" as referring to the burn in...

Hmm... I must have missed the discussion about this, as I feel this is the first I've heard of it. It seems like an odd thing to contract out. I'm likely to use mine while waiting for the bus, and here it it tends to vary from about minus 35 Celsius to plus 35 degrees Celsius outside...

Great news! (So some things with the project do proceed happily without any complications!) Hmm... that was more than 24 hours ago. Impatient enquiring minds wonder and worry about how that burn-in test went. :P Have you had a chance to test yet the workaround for the overvoltage problem that...

I carry a compact full-size Bluetooth keyboard with me at all times in case I have to send a text message or otherwise interact with my so-called-smart phone. [I used to think that whoever came up with the idea of a computer without a keyboard was a moron, but since then I have realised that it...

I would prefer that he spend any little time he has getting the new prototypes out to developers/testers, rather than squander it on news posts. To some extent the project is effectively stalled until they get these prototypes. Although news is always nice to have!

Didn't EvilDragon say that he would be getting ready for Gamescom (August 21 to 25) and might not have time for much Pyra stuff (building the new protoypes and getting them out to developers/testers) until afterwards. :( So we're not really expecting any news. Well, I guess the overvoltage...
