So here's an update. I am investigating this issue and checked how funkeymonkey works.
If you are interested in the matter check the first answer here: Link
It's quite long, but very easy to understand, so I encourage everyone to read it.
So what we do is something like this
kernel ->...
Latest hardware.
So if I do an apt update apt upgrade, it tells me that the version has changed.
However I never needed to use that flag for installing something.
My headphone is not too bad and the speakers are loud.
So you needed this in order to install something on your Bookworm? If so, that would be very strange. I never needed that.
Did you install buster onto the SD card using the install.img? It installs to emmc, right?
Might be that there is something wrong with your Pyra. For me Bookworm works.
Other idea: Have you downloaded the image a second time? Maybe the download was faulty. Small chance but maybe worth a try...
If you are willing to nuke your emmc, maybe install buster to SD and use that to set up bookworm on the emmc.
Maybe that could work.
Just try different things. Took me quite awhile too get mine in a working state.
This is not how it works.
50% or so of all orders were placed during the first day(s).
Also, the production was halted because of several stupid reasons (RAM not working, case issues).
Those are not issues that will delay the production in a linear manner. So hopefully things might go more...
What do I do wrong?
I I add those keycodes to my .Xmodmap file they won't get loaded.
I can source the xmodmap manually (xmodmap .Xmodmap) and that works.
So does the Pyra not source Xmodmap automatically?
I already tried what the Atch wiki suggests and put the following into .xinitrc
[[ -f...
You do not need an installer.
It's takes a little longer to install, but you can do it manually.
Download the .img
Make a bootable SD card out o that
dd if=/bookworm.img of=/dev/mmcblkX bs=1M status=progress
That will make you image of 4GB size
Follow the instructions here to resize your...
I made more progress with Bookworm.
There is sound via headphone. I had to enter the MATE panel's sound settings and under the 'Output' tab set the output to 'Headphone'.
That magically did the trick for me did sound output via my headphones.

Yeah, I would recommend to switch to...
I tested bookworm and at least the login and volume wheel had no issues.
The headphone port never worked for me, no matter the Debian version.
So maybe try bookworm if you do not want to use buster.
Oh, a familiar face. Hi <3
I just recently revived my Pyra and visited ED to help him build a few.
So we both seem to do some sort of comeback.:)
No, I will not read those walls wall of confusing text :p
I 100% agree.
No idea why they include all those stupid features no one really asked for.
It's probably because marketing department thinks it sells more games.
They however fail to make the client a real big deal that everyne wants to use.
It is such a huge wasted potential.
