What Desktop Environment is going to be used on this?

That's what tge guy said in the linked talk. Pixman can use neon acceleration and if it can use the 2D acceleratorchip of the ompa 5 there shouldn't be a reason not to use wayland/xwayland on the pyra. There could be some tests made if the gpu drains much more power when handling desktop stuff...

What Desktop Environment is going to be used on this?

Can you use software rendered wayland with the 2D accelerator in the Pyra?

    PPSSPP performance on Pyra?

Well. Have a look how it runs on the nvidia shield or Chromebook. Should be similar. I belive there is a point where not only hardware performance matters as a dreamcast emu runs equally good on the Pandora and newest android devices.

    QEMU Issue

You should really read the wiki. http://pandorawiki.org/QEMU#mw-mf-search But short version here: Not in Win95 but if you install Win98 you can use the usb tablet mode what fixes the offset. Win95 hasn't got the HID drivers to work with the absolute pointing device emulation. The...

The classic version of the Pandora LCD screen cable problem

You could send it for repair. Or use the GHz upgrade. Where did you get this Pandora from? Did you buy it used? Was it like that from the beginning?

18/10+19/10 firmware updates: breaking compatibility (mistake?)

all of a sudden: no charging (usb or ac), battery draining insanely fast (est. 1h remaining at 70%)

Have you openend it by now? sometimes you can even see the ics that are too hot because their markings are burned out. But if the audio sounds stranke there also could be some short or something in this department or maybe the lcd cable. also see if there is a problem with your...

The classic version of the Pandora LCD screen cable problem

Never heard of incompatible lcd cables, too. Are you sure your friend gave you the correct one? Can you take a photo of the cable and the connector?

    Decent connectors

I think symmetrical headphone jacks would be fine, too.

First round of audio tests done

I used opendmx already. Not a bad software. But the killer feature for me would be to have everything built in not just as a usb addon with tons more of cables and boxes. Will never happen anyway but one can dream :)

First round of audio tests done

Not exactly a lightdude but wouldn't it be nice to have a Pyra next to a DJ setup or mixer when on a gig with a band to control the lightshow and simultaniously record the show?

    Concerns Regarding Pyra Branding

Don't know if it was mentioned, but I think the last design that ED decided on went to Taylorpark, a professional artist, who does a bit of cleaning up.
