One great thing I am going to love is because the Pyra runs a desktop OS you won't get the mobile version of every website you go to, which can be beneficial for example the Youtube mobile version when I use it on my phone, if I switch tabs it will cut the audio out and pause the video (probably...
It's hard to say exactly what the system can do before it's released but the best way to get an idé of what it can do it just look what it's predecessor the OpenPandora could do. Evildragon has a hole video series on his youtube channel just showing off applications, games and of course tuns of...
I plan on using it with my desktop, with remote desktop applications and SSH, accessing many of my desktops features from my Pyra will be pretty easy like with any GNU/Linux machine. But I don't think I will need it much as the work I do don't really require that much processing power all the...
I've too been looking for a portable monitor for when I get my Pyra. I decided that to hold up with my search for when the Pyra is out. I'm sure other people will be searching for that too.
You pretty muched summed up most reason I am still waiting for the Pyra instead of getting anything else. It has been some tempting to switch gears but just like with the Pandora it's worth the wait.
If ED where to ever make a Smartwatch (I don't why he would lol) then he should call it Chronos, because that's the god/titan of time in Greek Mythology.
No Linux support and I don't own a ps4 or xbone :P so doesn't change anything for me.
Why would it be capped at 30 thou? I would think that modern hardware would be able to run this at 60. Looks beautiful.
Clever solution. I would want it for all my retro hardware. Would be way easier to plug them all into a USB hub instead of having all those old (and big) AC adapters running across the back of my monitor. But one step at a time I guess ;) awesome idea ED!
That controller looks great, I love the retro design. Hoping to see a trackball and paddle controllers with the same style. I would pick them up for my PC to use with emulators.
It is a very charge issue in Sweden and you will find a lot of of opinions of it if you ask random Swedes.
So I don't want to seem like I am speaking on it with any more authority on the issue. Really you should do your own research and there are a lot of different sources so you should check...
I pre-ordered a 4GB version but I can go with a 2GB if that becomes the case, in fact seeing it being such a issue to get it to work for so long kinda makes me wish 4GB never was an option. Especially since when Pyra pre-orders has been meet and it's in stock to buy the question on peoples mind...
