Should I have received my final order eMail already?

I think part of the plan to build the pyras at one place is to pass the collected tweaks and experience to GC, which will do the assembly eventually after all hurdles in the assembly are overcome. And to find this smooth and hurdlefree assambly, it might be a good idea to do it in one place...

Should I have received my final order eMail already?

plus number 23 an 42(!) have the same fade. I guess there are about 198 pre-preorderers wanting No 42

Should I have received my final order eMail already?

My prepre was on 20 Oct 2015 and was towards the end of that 174/175. Still strange, if preorders started in May 2016, then theoreticly your orderdate ist somewhat "impossible"... unless levis scenario is the correct one and the original pre-preorderer still has the PCB.

Pyra news partially stale from the dragon's mouth

nice one. I'm just rewatching B5 with my soulmate.

Latest update: Keymats are here, how strong will the logo plate be - and pretty cases.

"Paint it black" But I'd vote for: Deliver the logoplate, but don't assemble it. So everybody can decide to glue in teh Pyra Logo or a custom one, whithout having to pry the pyra Logo out.

A video. Again. Mostly about cases.

OK, I'm a bit TL;DN at the moment, but did watch the video. So, I would let that one to ED to deceit. I understand, that it might sell more units, if the look better with coating. I myself would go for a bit if discolorisation, but constant look, instead of shiny in the beginning. I don'tknow...

    Case Improvements and the keymat

Hope not beeing redundant 8have no time to read through): Sure there is no lasercutting company, which is able to cut Aluminium with pre-applyed adhesive? (I can at least ask 2 companies). Alternatiblyyou could just deliver it un-glued. So everybody can do it themselfes (or use an own logo if...

Some personal stuff - and prototypes building!

As all off us I really looking forward to my Pyra and can't wait to get my hands on it. BUT seriously @EvilDragon if you need some timeout, take a nice 2-4 weeks holiday with your wife (which gives us all so much by having less time with ED) and enjoy that without any regret. From my...

    Quick update and summary

Hmmm, so you dare to raise the wrath of fenfire?? I think that might not be very wise, but well it's your life :-)

    It's the speed that counts.

Is there any chance (once the tests are finished) that we could help in any way? like getting units an test or something like that?
  16. mclien

    Tests, tests, and more tests.

Maybe it's a good idea to ask bunny, if he knows tricks to get that speed up a bit? Most likely he has an open ear, plus it is not impissible to meet him in germany at the next ccc (35c3).

Ask the Dragon - Date has been set!

Is there really a light at the end of the journey...?

fullACK. Brick ist teh only desogn that will survive how I usually stuff my daily backpack. Taht ist honestly the reason why I hate this modern mobile devices design "foodprint A3, but 3mm thin". Would break, when I THINK how I would stuff it mentioned backpack :-)

An update of the waiting game

All this is of course not a problem at all. Normaly companies agree to confidential terms on these cases. Plus they only get the the gerber data and produce soley PCB, so it is not much difference to GC asking other companies for producing PCBs. There is a difference between providing production...

An update of the waiting game

@hns @EvilDragon as mentioned before: my wfe works at a german PCB (only) producer, which is specialized in hight quality and mulitylayer. (My wife works at the department, which reviews the data for production). So I could think of two steps to take advantage of that: 1. check, igf GC is...
