Nub as the mouse and the should buttons as right and left click?

Oh, nice idea to use the (A) (Y) (B) Buttons. And scrolling with the 2.nub is also nice (BTW: 2 directions? horizontal and vertical?) Maybe it's an option to have that setup with the desktop and another with the mini-menue. Then you could get different setups for desktop/ gaming mode...

Media and Press - who should we contact?

Didn't look here for a while. I'm still confused, if there is any place where to coordinate the contacts? @EvilDragon Do you ahev any plans for taht or do you think that ible s place he suggested in the above post is appropriate? If so it might be a good idea to "legalize" it from you site to...

Nub as the mouse and the should buttons as right and left click?

Thinking about lid close behaviour, I could think of several usefull scenarios: - suspend to RAm (obvious) - all of except music player and volume wheel - display off only - all off, except wifi and downloads 8usefull at e.g. CCC congress and pirate-box scenarios, like exchanging slides at...

Nub as the mouse and the should buttons as right and left click?

Thanks. That is so obvious, that I didn't thought of that! Taht is indeet the perfect soulution :D Or even better as left click, must look very professional when doule clicking ;-) I think as long as you can easily configure that as user, it shouldn't be a problem. I would like a menu for...

Gamescom, sensor upgrade and other nice news

I had the pyra in my hands at the GamesCom (shortly I addmit, because had to catch my train). Looks (mostly) like trolling. The nubs a superp from my opinion, presice to navigate and a really nice click (which I need to get used to, because they weren't at the pandora). And I need to think of a...

Gamescom, sensor upgrade and other nice news

:D Mission accomplished! Thanks. 2 things: drop the video somewhere, so I know what was running there (sometime after the show, of course) I guess you can transport it assembled, but be protective of the front (it's just 0.1mm veneer) If you run into storage problems, I guess @jeeks would be...

Gamescom, sensor upgrade and other nice news

"Was a pleasure" isn't entirely true for all timeperiodes of the build. But summarized it was a pleasure to contribute something, which I rarely can on the other topics (like writing code or such)

Gamescom, sensor upgrade and other nice news

Thank you. I'll plan to put all the design files and code on hackaday.io soon. Couldn't document there during the build, because I was under pretty much time pressure to get it done. If you really want to put it there be aware it has a max. power consumption of about 700W (that is all 2048 LED...

Gamescom, sensor upgrade and other nice news

Not really. First it has 32x64 resolution, which is nice for retrostyle animations, but not for text. Second it's currently only feedable with a bunch of pre-processed png images (one per frame of the video) Third there IS some java software, which could stream a video to the display, which is...

    Tweaking and Finalizing

As for the colors: I really would like to try coloring the clear one from the inside (mybe in the FeaMinx-rainbow-style. Strickly for a lot of different technical AND emotionalreasons), just to see the outcome... For the rest: Well, I was on fusion festival last week, so I#m way ahead on that...

A few Colors and Packages (with a poll!)

@EvilDragon : for the "waste" cases: i'd like to have some of them for testing case mods... (especially the custom Logoplates) For the Logo plate itself: I guess the plates are anodizised? Might be you could have some of them in bare, non-anodizised Aluminium, the we can get them in different...

Pyra maximum resolution on external monitor

Which again makes me want a docking station, which supports 2 HDMI outputs. At least the pixelsum suggest that it could be possible to drive 2 1680x1050 monitors, which would make a killer Desktop for such a small device....

    Promoting the Pyra

@Nardella Did you note that the one, who posted the (only!) snappy note allready softened his statemen? So please don't justify on one snappy post. All the rest where quite nice, I'd say. Oh and I stil miss the link ;-)
