Just bought the last two dragon cards I was missing to finish my magic the gathering collection. I now have one of every dragon card ever printed. (Except for a special one of that's not for sale)

    Your Steam Sale purchases?

dead rising 3 $15 (-70% from $50), stardew valley $12 (-%20 from $15), brutal legend $1.50 (-90% from $15) stardew valley is amazing, been playing it basically non-stop. It's like harvest moon series but way better. played a bit of dead rising 3, maybe an hour, it's too early to tell if it's...

    Origin Stories (of your alias/moniker/pseudonym)

SNES has always been my favorite game console / game era. Got mine when I was about 10. Fond memories of playing final fantasy and chrono trigger and eating cheese balls. I made my avatar when there was suggestions for the pyra logo. Guess it didn't get much popularity.

GPD Win (x86 Computer / Palmtop)

the posts are relevant to a device that's in development and it's progress I personally don't like reading shitposts in a thread about a device I'm interested in.

[Roadmap] Using the Cortex M4 CPUs

This thread is interesting, just two days ago I had suggested something similar and was assured from multiple sources it wasn't possible.

Uses for the Cortex-M4 cores on the OMAP5?

There are a couple hypervisor projects that target cortex-m4 only platforms when I went looking around. https://www.mbed.com/en/technologies/security/uvisor/ https://github.com/ARMmbed/uvisor http://www.x-hyp.org/products/free/ https://sourceforge.net/p/xhyp/code/ci/master/tree/ this is...

Uses for the Cortex-M4 cores on the OMAP5?

How about a hypervisor boot environment on the m4's that could then boot different VMs running different kernels for the a15 cores?

Intel discontinues (sort of) Atom CPUs (relevant to pyra and competitors)

Truly a sad day when looking to the future. The recent Atom chips were quite good for their intended purpose. The race to the top (total power) was complimented well with the race to the bottom (power consumption and price) hopefully its just the line they are killing and not the concept

Anybody considering picking up an Oculus Rift..?

It has been hard to pull myself away, but I got work and real life responsibilities. Typing this out on my phone at work ATM. The first party content is quite impressive visually, but lacks a bit in the fun area on everything I tried. Pretty VR games, but not fun VR games. If you want VR eye...

    Bugs and Calculations

If you find the time, after the power issues are resolved, can you run another series of tests on normal and extreme use cases as far as battery life and thermal readings? Not sure if it will change much of anything, but it would be good to know.

GPD Win (x86 Computer / Palmtop)

Looks like makeshift key caps that might have fallen off because it's a prototype, it may be more functional than we are giving them credit for, or maybe not, but replacement part probably.

Anybody considering picking up an Oculus Rift..?

I'm contrasting the 3 main VR headset options available (Rift, Vive, PSVR). The lack of including of the other two major options as possible offenders, and in fact even suggesting otherwise as the solution, leads one to believe they are saying other options are safer bets if privacy is a...

Anybody considering picking up an Oculus Rift..?

AFIK steam collects similar info, and has been for quite some time. One could ask if valve is in the same business as Facebook with that info. I don't like how that article tries to paint the picture that the vive is somehow excluded. I can however see PSVR coming out clean on this, however you...
