For those who may have missed a small nugget of news (on Discord from ED):
So I'm hoping for some forthcoming photos... or at least another small iota of an update next week.
It's less about "browser wars" now, but more about http "standards" bring an utter train wreck and only getting worse, especially with Google et al trying to DRM and monetise the entire web (and passing it off as adding "security").
In an ideal world, in my opinion, no individual company...
I've recently discovered and started playing Dwarf Fortress. I've heard the name before, but was ignorant of its background and what it is - now I feel it will eat up many, many hours...

Just started Baldur/s Gate 3, and while I've only got a few minutes in, I can tell it/s going to be something special. It/s been one game I've been looking forward to for a long time, and will probably buy it more than once (digital and when I can get a physical copy...)
I use Anki daily for language practice. Got basic reading literacy in Japanese (although vocabulary still needs work), and recently started (albeit deliberately slowly) working on Cyrillic and Hangul.
Method one is cleaner, but might it make sense to track other info during processing and use that instead (like total number of files processed, or some other metric that might be useful to report)?
It's still awesome in my eyes, and still my daily driver.
I will point out one complaint re earlier boards (for which I'm affected) where the battery drains while not plugged in, even on standby, at a higher than normal rate.
There are numerous threads about it, although I've not had the time...
Apparently Threads (from Meta), where frog face and robot face have been publicly battling it out to show off their dominance.
I only use Mastodon. Mainstream social media is a train wreck.
