What are you playing this weekend/these days?

I think PSO2 is my favorite, but I guess you haven't played that one yet. It might be different for you in that case. Not many new PSO games are introduced afterwards, so still worth a shot. --- I read this (free) service provides a similar online experience, and provides the option to download...

What are you playing this weekend/these days?

No, I actually switched to PSO2 (also Dreamcast) before reaching the end. And after that to Universe on the Xbox 360. Had the Playstation Portable version and Japanese PS Vita version to. I also have the PSO bundle on the original Xbox but played Universe more on 360. Losing all in-game progress...

What are you playing this weekend/these days?

I played Phantasy Star Online (1 and 2) a lot. The idea was that you play with others but I usually played solo. So, initially you invest a lot into upgrading so you can actually play. But after that it was good.

What are you playing this weekend/these days?

I like RPGs but I also feel like they usually don't respect your time. Which I didn't mind when I had time to spend, but I also have to spend time on other stuff these days. When I've vacation I pick-up games that take more time, but usually still no 200h RPG. But that doesn't mean I dislike...

I've started playing "Another Brick in The Mall" where you build an area full of shops and services (like supermarkets and restaurants). It gives me a Theme Hospital feeling while it looks like 'Prison Architect'. Not played it long enough to know all the flaws and limitations yet. Steam:

Talking about Windows 10, today support (updates) stops unless you pay for extended period of upgrades. Unless you are in the EU, you can request these updates for free but it does require having a Microsoft account. If your hardware and conscious allows you, the update to Windows 11 is...

I also felt like the original graphics were a bit too dark. I cannot remember them being like that on the (OG) Xbox, switch for that reason to newer graphics mode. Recently I played them all on easy, as I don't want to be annoyed by getting killed all the time, as my goal was to complete all...

What are you playing this weekend/these days?

I just finished the Halo Master Chief Collection, including Halo CE Anniversary. I actually didn't switch to the 'new' graphics for a good while. I already played the game on the Xbox a long time ago, and on the PC when it was released there. So I guess I'm already expecting the annoying little...

I think Windows 10 (and newer) detect keystrokes that could be made by a cat walking on a keyboard, so it will ignore most of those. I guess this works even better.

Not that I know of, you can inspect the case for damage, but I would at least power it on to check if the screen and buttons works. For this reason you could bring a power-bank and usb-c cable in case it's not charged.

Yes, my only complaint would be that it's too good. Like watching a movie at home instead of the theater, but in reverse. I only just found out there are many (unofficial) cores you can run  https://openfpga-library.github.io/analogue-pocket/

    • It's relatively expensive compared to the 1-in-a-100 Chinese clone handhelds • it mostly does Gameboy games, you can get the accessories to play more systems, compared to the these generic emulator handhelds that play many systems • dock accessory costs extra, not just an USB-C output for...

Pringles might not be the best example, they already chose to use the term 'crisps' instead of 'chips' due to not using 100% potato (but also rice, wheat). Maybe their advertisements are also too hyperbolic ;) As a kid I used to eat boiled potato topped with butter-fried caramelized sweet...
