    Damn, finally broken

Once I took a sewing needle and used a piece of utility wire and bound it tightly to my 1mm solder tip, then I clipped the tip so it wasn't so fine a point, and it heated up enough to allow me to solder some extremely fine components but it's a ghetto workaround for not having a small enough...

This is how much I hate the nubs on my Pandora

My left nub seems to work okay some of the time, but my right nub seems to have a spot on the bottom left that doesn't register, so my Nub Test sort of looks like a cookie with a bite taken out of it on the bottom left side. I'm going to wait until I can snag a 1ghz board though, and I'll...

    Android gingerbread in a pnd?

I haven't yet, though everything else seems to work perfectly fine.

    Android gingerbread in a pnd?

Nope, reverting the SGX driver back to default made no difference so, I dunno what has changed.

    Android gingerbread in a pnd?

It's still FAT32. It worked fine before, but I hadn't run it in a while, and when I tried to run it today, it wouldn't work. So i deleted the appdata folder for it and redownloaded the PND and still no joy. I'm not sure if something is changed since the last time I updated, I'm on the most...

    Android gingerbread in a pnd?

I've got the most up to date packages for my  Rebirth and running the gingerbread_r6.pnd fails. If I try to run it manually, it will mount the PND, try running pandora/run_gingerbread.sh, after it asks for my password, a box flickers a sec, then vanishes and it fails.

    Release Otter browser

I've been using Arora on my rebirth. I've tried some of the other browsers, including Otter, but out of all of them, Arora seemed to be the most responsive before, during, and after loading a page. The number one reason to have a browser is the ability to browse the web, and if it's more...

Half Life Running on Pandora! (Xash3d)

My favorite level was the Lambda Core level!  Parts I hated the most:  Climbing up the Cliffside on the way to the Lambda Complex Any of the Jumping Puzzles in Xen But one of the best games ever made, I can't wait until it's fully available!

    FALLOUT originals on Pandora?

The disk image with the best running combination of tools and Univbe that ran Fallout 1 the best under Qemu. I tried several images and combinations, even built some of my own and this particular one ran the best under Qemu for me, compared to other ready made images. Oddly, under one version...

    FALLOUT originals on Pandora?

May be possible, I haven't tried any others yet, but the image should be sound.

    FALLOUT originals on Pandora?

Alright! Here we are, an Optimized Qemu Dos Image specifically for playing Fallout 1 with. You will need: An ISO of the original Retail Fallout Disc with the Dos Version of Fallout on it. (Other ISOs may not be guaranteed to work) The reason for this is obviously, I can't include a retail...

Android in a PND Request - Froyo? (2.2-2.2.3)

I like Lollipop as well, but the problem is that Android after Gingerbread has become more resource hungry than previous versions. Froyo was used on a lot of budget tablets for a reason, because most of them only had 512MB of Ram or lower end inexpensive chipsets. Considering resources on the...

    reset back to factory defaults?

Weird, I think I figured it out. I had to go back and completely repartition my card and make sure it had absolutely no empty space in front of the primary partition. For some reason, trying to repartition the card kept adding a single 1MB unpartitioned space at the front of the card. Couldn't...

    reset back to factory defaults?

I have a freshly formatted Fat32 2GB card, and unpackaged ED's 1.71 image to the SD card's root. Verified all the files are there, and when I go into the Bootloader, I don't get the option to boot to SD. Does anyone have any idea what's going on? I can see all the other options, all I get are...

Android in a PND Request - Froyo? (2.2-2.2.3)

While it's awesome to have Android for the Pandora using Gingerbread, is it possible to get a version based on Froyo instead? Froyo is a little less system heavy than Gingerbread was, and it might even run better on Sub-1ghz Units. It's also still a relatively relevant version of Android and...

    FALLOUT originals on Pandora?

Dosbox tends to run things slower than Qemu seems. Oddly, I have a Dos6.22 img and installer for the hard drive, but it runs slower than if I use a DRDos image from the Wiki and it works faster. I'm not sure why, but I imagine some of the tools and drivers are a little more efficient than the...

    FALLOUT originals on Pandora?

Tested this and: Huzzah! Major performance difference! I'm running the same Dos mode version of Fallout 1 and its actually playable now. Initially when running the Univbe setup after rebooting, it would hang, but running the Univbe setup again seems to work. The additional options in this...

    FALLOUT originals on Pandora?

I did a test run installing the DOS version of Fallout in Qemu, with a Dos image and it runs better. Still extremely slow framerate (Something along the lines of maybe 2-4 fps) but it's a bit more playable than it is running it in Win95.

    FALLOUT originals on Pandora?

I've got Win95 running on Qemu on a 925mhz Rebirth edition and it's extremely slow, to the point that I'd consider it practically unplayable. Win95 also runs extremely slowly, though it is functional, and the Touchscreen does not align properly anyway. But the Win95 version on a 1ghz looks quite...

    Release Starcraft

I think with 640x480 vs 800x480 isn't too bad and just large enough that the extra width would make some aspects of the game a little easier to work with by having the extra space for the touch screen to work, but I think to each their own, to be honest. But I don't know if that'd be an issue...
