Use a fairly fast drying adhesive designed to bond plastic. I don't know what this plastic cement stuff is you are using but some are better than others. Maybe you can glue some unimportant plastic parts together before moving on to the nub to make sure it bonds plastics well.
Don't apply...
The problem is that the factory isn't/wasn't using enough glue under that disc. It happened on the last batch and I reported it. It happened again on this new batch and I reported it. I'm hoping the factory actually starts paying attention to this important request.
When (if) they come off...
Here are some exploded view pictures of the insides:

So there was absolutely nothing wrong but you opened it anyway. I wonder what would have happened if you broke something.
Also, tilting the board up like that can break off the microphone element since it sits inside a plastic sleeve mounted in the hinge hump. The board was designed to lift...
It sounds like your NAND has been corrupted and needs a full restore. If the leftmost LED is on at power up, it means that no functional boot method was found. Unfortunately, it also means that the only way to shut the power off is to pull the battery because it takes software to do a power...
I don't really know what the right value would be. Someone who is a chemistry expert and knows how LiPo works would be the only one who could answer that. Maybe there is decent information online somewhere. Looking at the specs on the battery protection PCB, after an overcharge condition, the...
How about adding some of Wizardstan's work with battery charging cutoff and restart? Maybe a value for BCIMFTH2 somewhere between 0xDC and 0xED? I don't know what the perfect value is but the battery should get some time to discharge before restarting the charging process.
It looks like Creative themselves are making this kind of product already: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004DJQXDW?ie=UTF8&tag=epizenternet-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B004DJQXDW
The 10" version is supposed to be out this year.
At least 250 more boards arrived in England yesterday. 400 more are supposed to ship next week (or it actually might have been by the end of this week but I doubt it) at the same time as 2000 more nubs arrive in Texas so that the next 1000 boards can be built right after this set. It's...
Most people knew already I figured. Clint(CEO) has taken Pandora boards to conferences to show them off in the past so it was never a secret. They were planning to post a section about us on their webpage like they do with the Beagle but of course, never actually getting through the builds...
Well, they are supposed to be for A/V cables but I seriously doubt we are going to make over 14,000 cables. At the same time, it isn't like we want to start handing these out and have people cancel cable orders when we are trying to get cables with as low of minimums as possible. I think the...
We have 14,500 pieces of this connector. I imagine Craig will want to sell them off as extras at some point. They're still in boxes at the factory or he would probably offer then on his parts page already so if you guys can't get what you need on your own, there will be an option eventually.
The electrospark process won't be used to make paintless cases. I discussed it with the rep and he said he couldn't guarantee it would cover anything up and since it is a one way process (that costs extra money to do), he didn't recommend doing it. Having to still paint later could be more...
It has been my experience that this is not true. Batteries decide how much current they will pull from your power supply based on their internal resistance. At least this is how it looks to me by doing the readings of current and voltage. It is up to the charger to limit the maximum current...
It has been explained before that the TI chip does not allow the battery to be isolated from the power input circuit, therefore trickle charging is continuous. As Wizardstan points out, if you can get the AC input draw down to below 80mA, then the charging circuit will be shut down but since...
I think the BQ chip is all about reporting averages while the TPS reading is just sample and report.
Does it really do that to a large degree or were you referencing something I said in the past. If so, that was about temperature readings only. The temp changed with current load because of an...
