    PND Scan

IIRC should be /etc/pandora/conf for most of the defaults (though may be overriden) Check through there, notably 'desktop':  9 [desktop] 10 searchpath      /media/*/pandora/desktop:/media/*/pandora/apps  # path to depth-search for PXMLs and pnd-files  14 [menu] 15 searchpath     ...

    Zikzak - crummiest 8bit console/computer ever .. but I'm making it!

For lulz, I've been working on decoding the PS2 game controllers, to use on my robot cars/etc .. its a very simple protocol, so threw my scope on a PS2 and figured it out, and then used some random online sources to fix up a few mistakes in my gueses.. and works a treat. (You can buy wireless...

    Pandora Go 1.4 on OpenPandora?

Isn't that the error for "disk full" or "swap full"? ie: either too many files open on a device, or the file size limit reached, or disk is actually full on the SD or /tmp ? Maybe you need to send TEMP somewhere else? jeff (there was a problem years ago, I forget what.. saw it on *buntu ...

    Dungeon Master "Anthology" on Pandora

You could upload it in his behalf; I have a copy of the pnd and the source from back when he was active there and here, I think; the dmweb forum is awesome though, for one of the best games of all time. jeff

Pandora Help with running pandora applications on the raspberry pi 2

That's a good plan :) r-pi2's aren't too pricey (say $40-$60 they seem around here), so a few donations would take care of it. A fund for a pyra is a cute idea :) jeff

Floppy disk labels for SD cards?

Or this ancient old modem, USRobots were pretty beefy and had LEDs on the front.. plenty can e done with that :P

Floppy disk labels for SD cards?

Its a neat line of ideas; using old power bricks (some of them were distinctive), or especially random floppy drive enclosures.. as r-pi cases, electronics project cases, USB hub enclosures, SD card reader enclosures as you found, or other crazy ideas. Since I've been hacking out all kinds of...

Pandora Help with running pandora applications on the raspberry pi 2

No clue about MC itself, so fair enough :) Desktop MC is java with some GL stuff going on, and doesn't perform super well on higher speed machines; the Pandora version I think was just the regular desktop version, with some GL wrappers to make it work (never looked into it, but that's my...

Floppy disk labels for SD cards?

This is damned hilarious; I have never ever thought of this concept.. <- mind blown! I love the 3d printed 525" PC drive USB card reader. That is so totally cool :) It makes me want to make up something like that, that has a microcontroller or something that spits out appropriate GRRRD, GRRD...

Pandora Help with running pandora applications on the raspberry pi 2

Well, first off. there are numerous builds of Minecraft native to r-pi; I don't use my rpi for gaming, nor do I play MC, but google turns up piles of hits.. first one being: http://pi.minecraft.net As to running Pandora compiled binaries on an r-pi, there are numerous challenges that make it...

    PND Scan

There is a config file that tells the pnd scan where to look; its likely that your mountpoint is outside of that, so you may need to update the config file (either in NAND or put an override file on one of the SD cards or hdd itself .. but only one override file, the first one found, will take.)...

    MiniMenu Refuses to start.

Gads .. thought we'd trapped most bugs long ago :) I wonder if mmenu or something like that is going onward for Pyra, or on its last legs? (Certainly, it was written in a _huge rush_, over what, less than  a week, due to complicated history between craig and folks). So if we want somethign...

Prototype case and Mainboard Assembly (small video)

Astounding ED! Many design choices are great improvements over the Pandora.. I love the ability to open the face without removing the hinge.. genius! The shoulders are nice, etc. Really well done!

Still use your gp32? Gp2x? Wiz? Caanop? (Zodiac...)

Truth :) Its not a bad idea actually.. ready to go tarball/zipball of stuff, sans ROMs/gamefiles. Doesn't have to be a SD image or large.. just get a working SD, zip the bastard up :) Anyone? ;) jeff

Still use your gp32? Gp2x? Wiz? Caanop? (Zodiac...)

Putting another cap in shouldn't be too hard, if you can find out where it fell out of :) Theres not a lot in a gp2x IIRC .. even a surface mount cap, a single one, is usually not too bad if you've got a steady hand and a small tip soldering iron, or know someone who does. gpRogue! :) jeff

Still use your gp32? Gp2x? Wiz? Caanop? (Zodiac...)

Its a shame gp32x.de is dead, and Dead. That was a great home away from home for a lot of years, and theres so much coding/hacking/demo'ing history there for these obscure platforms of ours :) A lot of good information that would otherwise be lost, is kept alive thanks to ED! (all those...

    Release ProjectX: Forsaken

Nice! I used to loooove this game on the PC; it made me buy a fancy flightstick, even, just to deal with those roving tanks better :) Used to play Master of Magic (4x game), then multiplay in Forsaken. good times. Thanks for this! jeff
