    My Pyra review

I use Vivaldi on my Pyra, since it seems to work the best.

Should I have received my final order eMail already?

Haha! I seeee! Well, it's a neat gimmick but yeah.

Is anyone using i3 on their Pyra?

    battery 0 { path = "/sys/class/power_supply/bq27421-0/uevent" format = "%status %percentage %remaining" low_threshold = 15 threshold_type = percentage # last_full_capacity = true } This is what I have in my "~/.config/i3status/config" file.

Which software do you miss on Pyra?

I don't know, I do know it does all the voice processing locally, unlike the other voice assistants. So the only thing that goes out over the internet is your queries in text form.

Which software do you miss on Pyra?

    There's always Mycroft.

Should I have received my final order eMail already?

I would like to request that theming info is just part of a config in ~/.config/ so that I can use my themedark and themelight scripts to change the book 'paper' and 'ink' colors for nighttime or daytime reading. Also please don't make the opening and closing the only way to read. It will wear...

    Pulseaudio bluetooth HSP

HSP mode seems to be broken in Pulseaudio on the Pyra. I can't get any input or output. If I try to record using parecord, it creates a 44 byte .wav file no matter how long I record for. If I try to play sound with mplayer, it says the audio device is stuck. Which mode does Pulseaudio start in...

Which software do you miss on Pyra?

I would like to see Moonlight running, with something to make the PC you're streaming from see the Pyra's gaming controls as an Xbox controller, preferably. I found a project called Sunshine, that acts as a server for Moonlight for people who aren't using Nvidia and/or Windows...

    Beta Mupen64Plus

Huh, I didn't think I had it that high, but I'll turn it down a bit next time. It also (naturally) doesn't happen when I use bluetooth headphones.

Should I have received my final order eMail already?

I suspect the armhf version is bugged, or maybe using it via a PPA meant for Ubuntu caused a problem.

Should I have received my final order eMail already?

I tried that, but it crashes on some books. It's not in the debian repo, but there is an Ubuntu PPA that happens to work on debian.

    Beta Mupen64Plus

I should ask, has anyone else played Kirby 64? I have an issue, which has gotten increasingly common, where the audio just becomes awful hissing noise. Now it happens immediately on the game starting. I'm wondering if this happens to anyone else. Mario 64 doesn't do it. It's not my specific ROM...

    My Pyra review

Oh, of course. Thanks! I don't know why I didn't think of that.

FBReader is fairly nice, but not perfect, and it's in the debian repo. Are you programming a new one?

    My Pyra review

I don't know how to assign functions to them though.

    Upgrading modem firmware

Oh really? Interesting... It'd be nice if there were plans that included data and SMS but no voice and don't require VoLTE.

    Upgrading modem firmware

@EvilDragon how many modems do you have, anyway? If you make more mainboards after you run out, consider getting the R4 ones perhaps.

    My Pyra review

That's right! 1612891784 You can fix the XFT font issue (invisible fonts) by editing /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-pyra-driver.conf and changing "SoftEXA" from "FALSE" to "TRUE". You do lose some things though, such as the ability to use vo=xv in mplayer, and I think stuff like Drastic won't be...

    Upgrading modem firmware

Still, I'm really, really hoping it can be upgraded. I can use a data-only SIM and a VoIP service like 1voip, but then I lose SMS ability entirely.

    Upgrading modem firmware

There was also speculation that the issue was that it wouldn't change the IMEI and so phone providers would refuse to allow it on their network since it would appear to still not support VoLTE. The issue is not a legal one, it's just a non-governmental body that most or all of the US phone...
