    Modem no longer working

I tried to use it but there's no signal where I live. I then tried it at the grocery store and it worked. When I went to try it again at my aunt's house, it was exhibiting this issue. I have received and sent SMS from the grocery store parking lot. So I've only actually used the modem once...

    Modem no longer working

That's what I mean. I never gave it a command like that, and the modem also does not work even when it's present for brief periods. So it's clearly not checking anything. And even when the ttyACMn interfaces are present, they ignore any commands.

    Modem no longer working

It never did this before, and even while it's present, modemmanager says there are no modems on the system.

    Modem no longer working

Yes, same result as when I use `sudo rfkill unblock 0` 1618641212 Also while the modem is present for the minute or so it is, the lsusb entry has no name, only pid and vid.

    It's 3667mV and it's still not working.

    Modem no longer working

Hmm... Well it's happening at any battery level and without charger plugged in. But it's worth a look. I'll check!

    Modem no longer working

    I reset the modem with rfkill, and it says: in0: +0.00 V in1: +3.72 V power1: 34.38 mW curr1: +0.01 A Then after a while when the modem interfaces have disappeared, it says: in0: +0.00 V in1: +3.72 V power1: 6.25 mW curr1: -0.00 A...

    Modem no longer working

It's consistently not working at all. It used to only occasionally not work, when the USB ports didn't initialize correctly. Now even when those work, the modem itself doesn't. It appears for a few minutes and then vanishes from lsusb and /dev

    Audio devices

I have now had Wario Land 4 do it while playing it through Ducktape mGBA as well. 1617910029 I will give these a try. The device works, just only through ALSA directly.

    Modem no longer working

I made a Pyra OS SD card and it's doing the same thing there. Something is definitely wrong. I think.

    Modem no longer working

Well, it says Oops on it, so it may be a kernel oops.

    Audio devices

I'm curious as to why when I plug in a USB soundcard, pulseaudio totally ignores it. I didn't know pulseaudio needed that much manual configuration, it's usually fairly automatic on other PCs. Why is it different on the Pyra?

    Modem no longer working

I tried rfkill unblock 0 again to see if I could to anything with it in cutecom, and then the Pyra did this. The nubs and dpad immediately stopped working at the same time, and then not long after, the enter key did as well. Very strange.

    Modem no longer working

Damn I hope there's some other solution. I have everything all set up how I like it. Maybe I can try booting from a freshly made boot SD?

    Modem no longer working

So I'm not sure when this started, but my modem no longer works. When I boot the Pyra up, and do lsusb, it shows up, and ls /dev shows the ttyACM1 through 4 devices, but mmcli -L says there are no modems, and after a while the ttyACMs disappear, and lsusb shows one less entry. This is different...

Brief Answers to the Big (Pyra) Questions

Why not have the readme be automatically labeled with the name of the DBP it goes with? That way people wouldn't be able to do that.

I hope someone makes a DBP of it soon!

    Slugs Be Gone!

Didn't the prototypes use the mobile version of the OMAP5 that got discontinued? That produced a lot less heat if I remember correctly.

    Slugs Be Gone!

I've been having i3status read the wrong temperature sensor then.
