    Weekly Pyra Preorder Stats

I still wonder why all this love for 4G... 2G should be enough for at least 90% usage scenario

Spectre (and meltdown) highly depend on a high accuracy clock to work. All major browser have their clock a little less accurate last week to render any attempt of Spectre a failure using javascript. Update your browser and you're safe. that's a simple as this

    Pyra dev?

Do you mean here that "pyra-debian-cross" works correctly within the windows10 linux subsystem ? If so awesome

    Spectre

From us ? Probably just make sure we're using the right configurations options for the kernel. Debian have already updated its toolchains even the cross-compiling ones. I havent updated my pyra yet, but i'm pretty sure what need to be recompiled already have been updated by the debian security team

    5G?

Nobody's going to stop you from editing your sources.list and swich to unstable (which is a rolling release) on your pyra :p

    5G?

Err nope. All theses bug are fixed since ages

    Pyra dev?

The files containing ':' are man pages for perl modules (which you can easyly live without) and dpkg infos files. Not having the later mean you wont be able update your rootfs nor be able to install other things in it (at least using dpkg). Yet you would have all the libraries to link to...

introducing myself (with some specific questions!)

Then you have an issue to fix imho. I realy fail to see any sexual content in this drawing. If you cant control yourself with that picture, how do you manage to not act inapropriately on the beach during summer ?

    Pyra dev?

Until you actually have the device I would recommand to just develop locally so you can code with the IDE you want. I'm sure C# will run at some point on the pyra since there's C# games on the pandora repo. But since I dont know the language I cant tell you more than that. Just make sure it run...

Yeah, my Pyra will be my new phone due to privacy. . .

Marble do support GPS tracking so does navit and a few other toys ;) Navit and marble are both available in the armhf debian repo. EDIT: to give it a try I need a mobile edition of the mainboard :P

    DBP repository

The repo is bound to a redisign at some point. And I noticed too that looking for maintainers is a bit hard currently, so yeah I'll try something about this.

    Important color changes

Well, the thing is : it has been released so long ago that many forgot about it. A possible PND-system replacement and since that's part of the default pyra OS, I'ld indeed say that it's official :P

Seriously you like making PNDs ? I HATE pxml to death. We have tools to make it bearable, sure. Yet the file format sucks b.... The dbp system is working nicely. dependencies are working like a breath. The file format is .desktop which is very close to .ini files, hence very simple to make and...

introducing myself (with some specific questions!)

Welcome on board Daniel, Games like Diablo do have specific ports for pandora (http://repo.openpandora.org/?page=detail&app=package.diablo1)and will very likely have a pyra port (The guy that have ported Diablo, notaz, do have a pyra prototype right now). But dont come with very high...

Pyra in the wild - the real life experience

... and there's even GUIs for this (I dont know if xfce have one but plasma surely has)

    It could be we're there!

This issue should be fixed in the lastest main board revision that hns is currently testing. The capacitor noise may be not noticable in some situations. But in a quiet room and lot's of current drawn from the usb port and you will nitice the noise from 1m away easily

    Finalizing the PCBs

I wonder who is the most irrationnal, him, or you ? My bet is clearly on you. As ED said, you've been banned not because of your critics but because no rationnal could make you listen to the others...
