Well it's a bit complex.
IMHO yactfeau have served it's time now. It was meant to provide an easy way to build PND using the toolchain that is used to build the OS. But that toolchain is dated now. I do clearly get why you want a newer toolchain. But that wont be yactfeau.
There's ianovic's...
Dont worry, that's the plan. If an other CPU board is made, it will be as an upgrade for already shipped pyrae. and that work would only begin after the pyra is done and begin to ship to customers

While gles is a subset of OpenGL, GL tutorials focus on the part that gles doesnt have :D So indeed those are useless in your quest.
But starting with gles 2.0 is indeed all a learning curve. Start by learning the 1st version. At least most your knowledge will then be transferable to gles 2
I'm running the webstore version under wine. The issue is not starcraft itself but the battle.net client that is requiered to download the game and keep it up-to-date. Have a look at the battle.net page on the wine app wiki
I've no cue on the hardware side. But as a user of a prototype, I can affirm that plug in power on the otg port and on the micro-usb3 port do allow to charge faster than using the otg only.
I can even tell you that it's the only way to boot the pyra with batteries empty if you plug it on a PC...
You can play multiplayer and custom scenarios also for free (in any race you want. mass carriers on bgh, here I come !).
The only usefull paid stuff imho is the other campains. But if you wanna play sc2 on the cheap, there's more than enough free.
