No, the above one is the first thread (showtopic=2)
The one you have is thread no. 5134.
The first thread should be 1, though it's deleted. I guess it was just a test thread by hando while setting up the boards.
I don't like ObjectDock.
Crashes way too often and takes up lots of ressources.
Only thing I'd like to have is the MacBar (Top Menu) with the Tray.
I only have a MacBar (own program) without tray :(
Do you use ObjectDock for the menu bar (then it's useless for me) or do you have a special...
Ah, well, not exactly.
I just remember looking at my watch sometimes, it also might have been 5 minutes or 7 minutes.
Anytime between that is possible (and 6 minutes actually was a nice number to put in ;))
I know the GPS USB receiver for PDAs.
And they don't have any screens at all (they use the PDA ones).
So we could connect them to the GP32 (okay, we have to connect an external power source for the receiver) - all we need is the software with the maps on the GP32.
The RPGMaker is NOT from Don Miguel, he just translated it (and the distribution wasn't pretty legal...)
Now he has NOTHING more to do with the RPGMaker, and hence he NEVER planned porting it to the GP32.
There are a few projects of an RPGMaker in the works. The most advanced one is...
Yes - and filesharing of movies is not exactly what you call legal - that's why I removed the link.
Now on to the topic:
Did I see this right? A GPS navigation system for the GP32?
Where did you get the maps? And can you connect any USB GPS-receiver?
Does anyone know how this works exactly?
No, it won't.
The glass I use is about double as thick as the original one (so the grey plastic surrounding the screen is about 1mm higher than normal) and it's nearly impossible to break that glass :)
Well, the voltage setting alone does not affect the power drain.
You always have three parameters when dealing with battery draining:
Voltage (V) and Electric Current (I, measured in Ampere) and Energy (P, measured in Watt)
The formula is:
P = V*I
Basically, if you have 3 V and 2 A, this...
Well, I just found out that it's not THAT big step.
It's legal to crack and copy obsolete software packages (PC Dongle protected programs, NES cartridges, etc.) what you legally OWN!
So it's not illegal anymore to play a ROM on an emulator that you OWN on a real cartrigde, but only when the...
ROMS are NOT legal YET!
It's just a discussion at the moment!
Asking for ROMS is also NOT legal.
If you want legal roms, go to http://www.pdroms.de and get homebrew stuff.
If you want illegal roms, please don't ask here.
The same happened to my screen.
I removed it carefully, took it to a glass company and they cut me one the exact same size out of glass (much nicer though :))
It didn't cost anything (it's so small it's waste for them ;)) and all I had to do is carefully cut the edges using some pliers and glue...
