You only need the Virtual Midi daemon if an application doesn't want to connect directly to a softsynth or if you want a more complicated setup (e.g. sending midi data from one input to two outputs, ...). Otherwise you can skip it. You don't need it for Virtual Midi Piano Keyboard.
When I get...
CASIO SW-10 is a software synthesizer that was included in Casio LANA Lite MIDI program (version 1.03 for Win9x only).
This is a Linux version (ALSA MIDI sequencer interface) based on decompiled Windows driver.

Planet view and Mission view are two separate executables, when switching between them, one quits and the other one starts - that's why you see the desktop.
When that happens, it means the mission executable crashed. In this case you see the result of previous mission. If you have a save game...
The remaining thing to check is, whether GMenu2X is started the same way on boot or not. And if not, then change /usr/gp2x/gp2xmenu accordingly and see if it fixes the problem.
The "&" after gmenu2x belongs there. It means the script doesn't wait until gmenu2x exits, but continues executing immediately. Which means that the application which executed the script will exit.
Is /usr/menu/gmenu2x another script or executable ?
I don't have Open2X on my GP2X so I can't verify it, but most (if not all) GP2X applications execute /usr/gp2x/gp2xmenu so I would start looking for the problem there. There may be an issue with this file.
I released a new version of Septerra Core (1.04.0.5).

Actually it was working on Pandora, but it wasn't very useful, because Pandora only supports encoding/decoding the baseline profile, while most videos are encoded using main profile (which Pandora doesn't support).
Aside from that, good work.
I updated a pnd on the repo (Septerra Core), but the package version didn't change - it should be 1.04.0.4, but it's showing 1.04.0.2. The application version did change to 1.04.0.4. In PXML both versions are set to 1.04.0.4.
