Sparks is a vectorial shooter that I have written, inspired by Vektar and Geom. Wars. It has already been posted on the developpement section, but now I have a version which runs decently on Pandora. It has just been posted on Open Pandoa boards as well.
The game includes an...
Are there many of you who are currently using a Wifi dongle to browse the web from a Pandora? At some point, Open Pandora was thinking about distributing a dongle to each Pandora owner, then they said Wifi is actually working, then finally it seems that it does not really work so a...

It includes an arcade mode, as well as several custom modes, which are actually mini-games featuring each of the enemies you can encounter in the game.
The game is not finished, but is...

Has someone planned to work on a XMoto porting? It is a great little open source physics engine based game and porting should be (I think) pretty straightforward to port, as long as OpenGL is not a problem. I could work on it if I have some time...
I was wondering how advanced were...
Sorry if this question has already been answered somewhere else.
I am thinking about buying a 8 or 16go SDHC card for my GP2X-F100. I remember that a patch has been developped for SDHC support on F100, but there seems to be few comments about it on the forums. In particular, it seems...
I am not sure it is the best place for this announce, but I was quite impressed this morning to see that Pandora was on the main page of the web site of "Le Monde", the most important french newspaper.
Actually, it is not a paper from Le Monde, but a blog about video games...
APE (Actionscript Physics Engine) is a really nice, lightweight, developer friendly physics engine for AS3.
You can have a look at a demo here:
Daniele Maiorana has ported it to Visual C++, and I have modified...
I guess there are many arcade games fans here, so I have a question.
Has anyone manage to finish games like Mars Matrix, Progear or 1944 with one credit? or with, let's say, three credits? This has always seemed impossible to me, and I really wonder whether this is actually impossible...
I would like to use my GP2X as audio client. I would like to play the mp3 that are in my Linux Box, thrgouh the USB network connexion.
Has anyone an experience with this? Is there a gp2x mp3 player which can be used as client for audio servers?

I have no idea why CraigX did not advertised this so far here (as far as I know), but there is a download version of Vektar available on gp2x.co.uk for a ridiculous price.
This is a very good news for all those of us who love this game but don't want to have it on a separate sdcard.
I guess it...

DROD (Deadly Rooms of Death) is a Dungeon crawling / Puzzle game developed by Caravel Games ( http://www.caravelgames.com )
Its principle is simple: you inspect dungeons, you fight monsters with your sword, in turn-by-turn combats.
But the silly architecture of these dungeons makes these fights...
I have to compile libcurl.so and libexpat.so, and in both case, the configure script does not want to generate shared libraries.
I use gp2xdev.
When I try:
./configure --prefix=/usr/local/gp2xdev/ --host=arm --enable-shared
checking whether the gp2x-gcc linker...
I am currently writing an homebrew game in which I render a snowy terrain. It needs grey scale, from light grey to white.
Problem: the difference between two consecutive grey is quite big, much bigger than when I run the same program on my computer, so the result is not so nice.
My friend ZX-81, who is a PSP guru and will soon be a gp2x guru, can't post on gp32x.de. It's a pity.
This post is:
1) A testing post, to check that I can post (sorry)
2) A welcome message for ZX-81 !!!

I need a simple file requester for my GnuGO2X project and I don't want to recode that from scratch. Do you have some experience with file requester in GP2X projects? Do you know a lib which would help, or an open-source project containing a file requester which could be easily integrated in...
I have ported GnuGO and its PSP frontend PSPGGO to GP2X.
From those who don't know, GO is a strategic board game coming from ancient china.
More details here:
- Game against GP2X or against another human player.
