Just came across a company that will soon be releasing this product.

In case the link doesn´t work for some reason it´s a card with BLueTooth built in for email an internet access and it accepts SD cards. Seems to do video, wav, mp3 etc.

Meh....I admit it would be cool to carry around a mp3 playing console without being scared that you are going to scratch the screen, but il keep my gp32 Methinks

very interesting, ive never seen that before.

only one problem the card sticks out the back too much!!!!!!

Actually it doesn't say anything about playing movies or even mp3's, it says email, chat, book reaing and much much more. If you could watch movies, I think they would atleast mention it. Even if it does, it still doesn't have all the emulators that GP32 does, so it wouldn'nt be quite the same.

Remember kids, all of these products don't have the open sourced capibilities or support the dev scene like gameparks GP32... (the 'official' smc reader for GBA for example) you have to buy special SMCs, and good like trying to emulate snes or much less turbografx

Software development seem to be possible:

Q. Can more than one application be played or stored in the cartridge?
A. Yes, depending on the file size of applications you could store around 10.

Q. Can you download content and application software to this device via the Internet?
A. Yes - You can download or re-program the cartridge.

This is from there faq. Seems like they have a developers program where everybody can develop and then offer your program through there website (no cost). This may lure some developers since the user has to pay for this software and the developer gets 75% of the proceeds.

In the PDF faq they mention pictures/video although I don´t think anywhere GP32 quality.

I think a lot of hackers will have a go as well at this card, so who knows what we can expect.

You also can't go to any website you wish. You can only surf to sites that have been specifically designed for use with that cartridge.
