i'm looking a utility for rename file into GP32 but i don't found.
Help me please if is it possible.

Im not sure if I understand your question. If you're using windows you can rename the file in the Windows Explorer but to work with Gp-Link it must be in 8.3 format(8 characters for name and 3 for extension). I hope that answers your question or do you mean to rename a file you've already added to your GP32?

If ya wanna do it in windows use GPDrive, if ya wanna do it on the go use a file manager such as comi :)

Note if ur using XP/ Win2K I wouldnt bother using the gp32 transfer app and use GPDrive anyays... faster and easier :)

why hard to understand?

He/She means that He/She wants to change the name of the file in GP Manager.

WinRAR has both the ability to batch zip AND make your filenames no more then 8 characters long (not including extension).

And sebastian, please be nice to our international users.
I wasn't being nasty, I just wanted to know whether this was a 2nd langauge.
He did no thave his location filled out, he could have just been a very backwards 11year old who hd no grammar ;)

Does it really matter if he is a backwards 11 year old? I don't remember seeing a minimum age required to own a GP32... If someone is young surely we should be more forgiving to them - imagine a teacher saying to an eight year old, "Pffft - this essay looks like it's been written by an eight year old!" Seems a bit unfair, no?

No it doesn't matter (i wasn't telling him off or sending him away, nor was i flaming) I jst said his question was very difficult to understand.
I don't see hyow this could be called flaming I was only stating the truth, that what he had written was difficult to understand. ;)

Sorry matey - my post sounded a bit more aggressive than I meant it to ;) I was really just voicing something that I've thought loads of times when reading other topics... I've seen loads of people saying things like "XYZ sounds like some 12 year old fanboy" as an insult. I always end up thinking "Hmmmm... hows being 12 years old something to be ashamed of?" If anything the GP32 is intended as a games machine and as such it's bound to attract young people. It therefore makes perfect sense that some should end up on this forum.

Anyway... Sorry, I didn't mean to acuse you of flaming. Just trying to make a point really :D

Well, thing is, if you can voice your questions properly, it prevents alot of unnecessary posts and bickering between members ("Naw, pretty sure he ment <opinion here>" "No, you've got it all wrong, he ment <other opinion here>"). So, to anyone who's first language isn't english and isn't too sure about wether or not he/she typed his/her question correctly, just try 'n grab a dictionary. It would benefit the poster too, because he/she gets his/her answer much quicker.

- From a poster who's main language isn't English ;)

sebastian was toasting and he knows it, that's why he's been winking so often :p

on a related note, is there a fxe i can put on my gp32 that lets me move files? COMI says it's not implemented yet...
