    It's A Little Fable!

How weird - I got Fable: Lost Chapters a couple of weeks back. It's good in a cheerful and fun kind of way, but I thought it was just like a watered-down Oblivion, personally. The most annoying part was the save/load. You can't just do 10 minutes because it only saves at chapter points... Next...

    D-pad Stick Replacement Project

 What are you implying? Looks good, though. Where did you get the D-pad, and what did it cost?

    Full Version Of Vektar

Woo! Mine literally arrived 5 minutes ago :D Great! On the X issue, though, I had it work ingame :( I'd just beaten the first boss and the screen of text was showing and I instinctively pressed 'X' to skip it, but it quit and didn't save my progress (only first level, though, so not too upset)...

    Devenv Rebuild Headache

Actually, that's what pleased me most about devkit when I first used it: no need to install cygwin. So, no, but I didn't have it before, either. I'll have to try rebuilding the whole environment again, and seeing if that helps... damn Cheers

    New Gp2x Website Launched

I agree Does the menu really need to be JavaScript only? I enabled JavaScript to see what it did... but it's only an onmouseover, which could be done in CSS... Or you could just use images and a proper onmouseover. Pretty good other than that, congrats

    New Vektar Demo

Just got my email saying Vektar will be here tomorrow. Yay! :D

    Devenv Rebuild Headache

Howdy folks. My computer recently passed away and required completely rebuilding (mobo bios upgrades are fun!). Anyway, obviously this meant rebuilding my development environment. I use devkitGP2X in Eclipse (3.2) with CDT (3.1). Before the rebuild, my linker was working poifectly with this...

    Dead Rising

The official statement was that that was intentional. I've never seen it, so I can't comment, but I would think that if it wasn't they would have done something about it; it would be a real hazard otherwise.

    World Situation

Ah! But the book doesn't say that. It states that stoning people to death for adultery (among other things) is a prescribed practice. So why does the Western World frown upon the Islamic World when they do such things? But, I agree with DaveC. Not doing something because you're fearful of the...

    Gmenu2x V0.2 Released

hehehe. You trying to rile 'em up to argue about who are the "genuine Canadians"? ;) The French (as in, from France) don't even like the French Canadians being called French :P

Power Supply Identical To The One One Gbax.com

I got the grey 2.5A version at the bottom of the page from my local Argos for £10. I use it almost constantly at home for development without issue (*fingers crossed*)

    The Ship

You have to keep it installed, but you can run it in "offline" mode. I've even been to LAN parties and played CS:S and HL:DM without a 'net connection, so you don't lose anything except for the auto. updates and the news.

    Gmenu2x

If I understood it correctly, DaveC's mock-up gives the ability to set the clock speed (and volume, by the looks of it) of the next app to run. This seems to be an excellent idea, as there's no need for the menu to be at 266MHz ;)

    The Inefficiency Of Firefox

Err... mine does both of those things. I also have Ctrl+Click on the tab bar to reopen the last closed tab - couldn't live without it. Caveat: The double-click and ctrl-click are from an extension

    The Ship

Errr... no, you don't. After the initial "this game is a legal copy", you can disconnect Steam and play without a 'net connection. Personally, I really like Steam. Getting the latest tech. updates automatically for HL2 and CS:S, etc has been great. If only they're shop supported more than just...
