OK - I've been playing with my Wiz (hehehe) for a few days now - thought I'd get some decent playing time before I made a post.
The good: As an ex GP2X F100 owner (decent one too, with very high overclock and an Evil Dragon joypad mod), I am happy to say that the Wiz is still in a totally...
Thanks for chipping in - yes, I now reckon it's the norm. :)
A really good test (for anyone who hasn't noticed it yet) is running Picodrive emulator and running 'Sonic the Hedgehog'. On the infamous 'Sega!' startup screen (all white apart from the Sega logo), it's very noticable. Then of...
Thanks for all your input guys. Sounding like it's 'fairly' normal so far then...
I think I'm going to going to take torpor's advice and just get on with enjoying it for the time being! If it get's any worse or more frequent, I'll worry about it then. Unit has only had 1 full charge so far...
Hi all,
Got my Wiz yesterday and already loving it to death! :)
Just have 1 concern about the screen though. Whenever a white (or very light) background is being displayed, there are quite noticable vertical shadow lines which 'roll' down the screen, almost like interference when you stick a...
Hi Mark,
I have replied via PM, but it's not showing in my sent items for some reason... If you didn't get the response, please email me at:

Same goes for anyone else who PM'd me and didn't get a response! :)
Hi,
Am selling my GP2X MK II with Nokia D-PAD MOD performed by Evil Dragon.
Excellent condition, very light use (mainly used for watching movies over the last few months), still boxed and WOULD still be under warranty if ED hadn't gone and modded it! :D Bought as one of the tested...
Can anyone tell me what the video out is like on these things? I was really disapointed with the TV out cable - just want to know if this is any better... :P
Cheers - I knew about Frodo, but it doesn't open my .zip files for some reason (and the compatibility is generally poor with multi loaders, so I use VICE).
Didn't know about Outcast and the Speccy emulator though - I will have to investigate (and start using the readme files)! Thanks for the...
I've got one (done by ED) and it is a marked improvement over the original, but just don't expect miracles. Some games (particulary non-console games C64/Spectrum/Atari ST, etc) were simply not designed for a D-pad or that damned stupid stick, and are still very tricky to control! Racers and...
A whole bunch of 'em (I had a GBA flash gizmo some years ago so played just about every game available at the time)! I remember Splinter Cell being *kinda* enjoyable, and I liked playing 007 and Doom on it (but it really cramped up my hands after a while).
I borrowed one again recently to...
You're right. They do it for the love of it and whether people donate or not Zodttd will release his work for everyone at the end of the day. If he wants to 'exploit' (and note the inverted comma's here) the more impatient among us in the meantime, well good luck the guy! But I think we can...
Yeah - that's the feeling I always get, too... They really need to add the 'up/forward' button to one of the pads (like Frodo does). Most racers and platformers are very awkward without this option even with a D-pad mod.
I always set it to 250 Mhz and (once the game has loaded) disable 1541...
