    Release schroot

I got it! locales isn't in the schroot so it's pointless trying to set it to anything other than C. So I just set LANGUAGE, LC_ALL, and LANG to C (outside of schroot), and the locale problem was fixed (install locales first right after) Then there was a problem with unknown group 'crontab' in...

    Release schroot

It's not working. [paul374@pandorica ~]$ sudo /opt/schroot/bin/schroot -c jessie echo $LANGUAGE ja_JP.UTF-8 [paul374@pandorica ~]$ sudo /opt/schroot/bin/schroot -c jessie apt-get install sudo Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done...

    Release schroot

I hope this thread isn't too old... So I can't install anything through apt-get since it's complaining about me not having any locales. [paul374@pandorica ~]$ sudo /opt/schroot/bin/schroot -c jessie apt-get install sudo Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading...

    Pandora cannot start

The first SD card does have an OS image on it (Angstrom), and I've been booting from that.

    Pandora cannot start

Oh, I didn't know that. Anyway, I left it plugged in overnight, and still no LEDs are on, and the screen isn't on either. The power switch doesn't do anything either (plugged in or unplugged), and when I plus in the DC again it's the same thing: logo comes out with green LED, then everything...

    Pandora cannot start

I theorized a discharged battery too, but wouldn't the red/orange charging LED be lit while the battery is charging? (It wasn't. After the Pandora logo and the green power LED go off no other LED is lit.) Also I thought that while the Pandora was plugged into DC it would always be on/booted...

    Pandora cannot start

Naturally, before posting this, I searched the forums for the same issue... none of them had the same symptoms. Events leading up to problem: 1 - Pandora just came back from RMA (after 6 months!) 1.5 - Test turn on and turn off Pandora. No problem. 2 - Plugged in old Pandora SD cards and...

I accidentally broke the LCD screen of my Pandora

Oh okay that's good to know. Thanks!

I accidentally broke the LCD screen of my Pandora

Yeah, I read that page. It says don't send the battery unless it's needed. Wait... so if it's not the battery that's the problem and thus I don't need to send it, does that mean that they have their own power source to check that the screen works after repair? Well.... they specifically asked...

I accidentally broke the LCD screen of my Pandora

Well the post office didn't want to send Lithium batteries. (They didn't specify Lithium-ion or Lithium-polymer, and clearly none of them took physics. Sticking the battery in an empty case and in the special battery case doesn't make a difference. Gah.) They say that Germany doesn't allow...

I accidentally broke the LCD screen of my Pandora

Do I send it to the same address that the replacement parts came from?

    Okay. Thank you!

I accidentally broke the LCD screen of my Pandora

I think I'm going to send mine in for repair too... Do I need to open a ticket, or can I just send it with the RMA sheet and wait?

I accidentally broke the LCD screen of my Pandora

The copper wires didn't want to conduct the heat, so I was just going to solder on the component to copper wires that I soldered in. :P The shoulder button for some reason doesn't want to be soldered on either, and neither does the DC plug... And in the process of swapping the keyboard casing...
