Whenever I've been messing with the DISPLAY variable, I've had to put :0 instead of just 0.

    Unable to edit the wiki

Went to update the manual and was greeted with an error I've edited wiki pages in the past. Although it has been a long time. Thought it might have been an issue editing the main home page. I went to a second page and did a test edit and still got the same error.

    Debug via USB-OTG

In the future "that did not work" is a vague problem. Did you get an error? Did it try to do something then just return? I had issues with minicom, I think it was a group issue. Screen was my weapon of choice, from the forum . And this should make it to the wiki -edit- Attempted to add...

    Box86 - Linux Userspace x86 Emulator

Not sure if you still like hearing about box86/64 being used out in the wild. Linus Tech Tips on the MilkV Pioneer I was surprised to hear them point out that box64 wasn't going to run steam then ignore box86. Was tempted to point it out but I haven't played around in that space. Also the...

    Download Pyra Debian OS (WIP)

The Wiki should hold all the keys! https://pyra-handheld.com/wiki/index.php?title=Manual And if it doesn't, make sure you correct it.

    Finally, a bit more news!

@EvilDragon Did the donation page go away? What I can give doesn't have enough 0's but I'm happy to kick in a bit. The link at the bottom of the shop page to https://dragonbox.de/en/home/donation-to-the-shop.html says "The product is no longer available"

    Finally, a bit more news!

My problem is lower level than that. There is a piece of hardware that acts as a bridge between the memory and the rest of the CPU. When it isn't actively being requested to fetch/store data, it can go into a lower power mode that does the minimum to keep the memory refreshed. I couldn't find...

Unable to Mount SD Card after apt upgrade

I'm out of ideas. It seems something as simple as it wants to pass the parameter to the mounting service but it doesn't allow that parameter. I don't know how to change what it wants to send and what it allows. Raspberry Pi has had the same update. It mounts ext fs fine.

Unable to Mount SD Card after apt upgrade

Ok, a command that gives the full detail of the error. sudo udisksctl mount -b /dev/disk/by-label/{LABEL} Error mounting /dev/mmcblk3p5: GDBus.Error:eek:rg.freedesktop.UDisks2.Error.OptionNotPermitted: Mount option `errors=remount-ro' is not allowed This is giving me some interesting google...

Unable to Mount SD Card after apt upgrade

Just updated to test your issue. Can confirm, not just you. FAT32 partitions auto mount. my ext3 partitions are not auto mounting. Can manually mount the partitions so there is nothing wrong reading the format or the SD cards, just something quirky with detection of .... something. Let me dig...

Looking for help: U-Boot RAM Timings

ERgh. I've finally got my changes up on git: https://dev.pyra-handheld.com/pimaster/pyra-uboot/-/tree/pimaster-dll Ended up basing it on https://dev.pyra-handheld.com/kernel/pyra-uboot instead of https://dev.pyra-handheld.com/daveshah/pyra-uboot There just seemed more niceties for pyra start up...

Looking for help: U-Boot RAM Timings

Well. Looks like I've got to clean up a lot of code. Work out why USB isn't working and make it available. This was far more of a journey than I was expecting.

Looking for help: U-Boot RAM Timings

K4B8G1646D-MYK0 is DDR3L-1600 (11-11-11), so would be most performant on an 800mhz clock. Fortunately: "7. Any DDR3-1600 speed bin also supports functional operation at lower frequencies as shown in the table which are not subject to Production Tests but verified by Design/Characterization."...

Looking for help: U-Boot RAM Timings

They are soldered. I just think of it slotted in. Maybe I should have said 800mhz devices connected to a 533mhz clock? Tricky is an under statement when we don't know what we are doing :P Yeah. I put a little more information in the wiki. It's not a lot but it can fill in some blanks.
