The viewing angle is not great, but I only notice it during the spalsh screen. I've never had the viewing angle efffect my gaming pleasure with thing.
In fairness most people will be looking at a 2.8 inch screen head-on and up close.
The screen is comparable to the ds screen quality wise apart...
This is the first console which has the power, screen, buttons (shoulder buttons!! for snes!! Finally......) and open sdk.
Its cheap and even looks nice.
I'm a little surprised to see Orkie not happy as this is just like the JXD but much improved.

A recent post mentioned Alien Hominid and if it would run on the wiz.
I hadn't realised that games of such high quality would be playable, and free.
So what other high qualty flash games are out there? :)

It's a shame so many seem to be blanking the wiz as it would seem both consoles could happily co-exist.

The 301 had a great, sharp, little screen with impressive viewing angles.
An OLED can only be better.
So its all good provided 2.8 is big enough for my humble needs, which it most likely is.
Do you really think the european pricing will follow the actual rates of $ to €? With postage and vat and customs its' 160€ from play-asia and that sounds like its within my reach. Of course it would be a treat to get it for 120€, that's just the kind of petty cash that can be easily put in to...
I like it. It's a truely portable, pocket sized gp2x.
About 120euro.
If it has decent sound and video (which it really should) it will be ideal for all my needs.
As for the D-pad, it looks to me like the edges are raised a lot compared to the center which should allow for your standard A+B...
