I am awesome, I am great! If you don't know it maybe some day you will. Until then that sucks for you.

It says November 11, 1911 down there because that's how old I feel sometimes when I get my hackles up over you whippersnappers and your forum boards.

I am 23, I live in California, I have worked in high-tech electronics manufacturing for 4+ years, and I am married to a rainbow goddess. Currently I am attending school, studying for a degree in Electrical Engineering.

My interests encompass a WIDE range of things, mostly focused around some form of technology. Video gaming, ham radio, hacking (the REAL kind, the kind that takes a soldering iron... not that hollywood computer-security-and-bank-fraud "cracking" stuff), home-made synthesizers and sound effects, open source, robotics, brewing beer, drinking beer, cars (especially high-tech ones), nature, things that explode, lab equipment (oooh man I just love to twist me some sexy oscilloscope knobs), homebrew and firmware hacking on commercial consoles, google wave, and last but not least... fashion.

I like to strive for seeing as many perspectives on a given argument as possible, which often leads to my demise on the forums. I usually open my mouth real wide and jam my foot in there before voicing any opinion I have, to make sure it comes out smelling of the same shit I just stepped in. When I do so, feel free to ignore me as pointing out my fallacies is basically preaching to the choir. I usually just open my mouth when I see grossly uneven arguments going on so I can puke more shit into the pile to try and even it out.

If something I say in a post tweaks you wrong and makes you very frustrated about the fact that SOMEONE on the INTERNET is WRONG (oh noes!) then you're probably just like me and we ought to hang out more... add me to your friends list.

The BIGGEST mistake you can make on the internet is to assume malicious intent.

I'll never understand why people do this, especially on these boards... but SOOO often I see people here say something that is completely harmless and in no way intended to be spiteful, and then someone just REAMS them for what they said.

I figure it's all because they were too dumb to read enough books as a kid to have proper reading comprehension skills. That and their parents probably fed them on a diet of raw sugar so their brain never properly developed into an adult brain.

I feel it is even LESS of an excuse if English is not your first language, because then you OUGHT to know that our languages have VERY different ways of expressing subtle things like sarcasm and spite... and such subtleties are completely lost on google translate or babelfish. I mean come ON... if you use a translation tool then any emotion you think you're interpreting is all in your head, fabricated by your preconceptions and negativity.

As I said before, I just LOVE to examine all sides of an argument... so one of my biggest turnoffs is when someone stubbornly defends their point of view with no consideration that the other party may not ACTUALLY disagree with them, but just wants to provide some perspective on things.
