Hi,
I recently got round to updating to HF5 and now when I try and turn my Pandora off, then shut down sequence starts and then once the power light turns off the screen freezes with the back light still on. Once this happens, I can't turn the Pandora back on and plugging it in charge up...
I've tried various materials to press the battery down, I've also cut the sticker that stops the battery sitting in place properly. While this has helped alot and the Pandora no longer randomly restarts while I'm using it, it still restarts every now and then when I close it. I'm not closing...
A couple of days ago I posted that my Pandora was randomly turning it's self off or restarting, WizardStan Suggested that I could have a loose battery and to use some tissue paper to cushion the battery and hold it in place better. This greatly improved the issue however, I've noticed that a...
The tissue has seemed to work, I was up most of the night playing on it and it didn't loose power once. Hopefully over the weekend I'll get a chance to write up a review on this wonderful machine. :D
OK a message just appeared to say that the Pandora is low on battery and to connect to a power socket so it looks like the battery is working now but the connection to the AC adapter is still temperamental.
Thanks for the reply.
Yes the unit doesn't automatically turn on once the battery is inserted and it will only work while plugged in however even then it just turns off or reboots randomly.
I just had another attempt with removing and inserting the battery, and while the Pandora did not...
I'm having some problems with the power and my Pandora. Every now and then it just turns off, no warning it just looses power.
I thought it was due to the problem here:
Once that was fixed it worked for a while but it just happened again. Also I can't get it to initiate the boot when the...
Yeah the psp charger fits perfectly thanks. and I'm actually a batch twoer who upgraded to premium so its not quite as bad as waiting two years.
It's been working fine since I've started using the psp charger, however it just turned its self of again a second ago, so I'll have to see how it goes.
Well I've got major eye strain now but I got it.
Of anyone else gets this, it takes some patience but you need to get a needle into one of the holes either side of the cap and press the body of the needle against the edges of the input plug. It takes a few goes but eventually the cap weakens...
I'm having no luck with hooking it out with a needle or stabbing into the plastic. I'd rather not go down the super glue road just yet. It looks there is some sort of roller that keeps the plug fitted and that's what us stopping the cap coming out.
Does anyone have any other ideas?
Ok I've got some photos. Looking at the photo of the input I'm near certain that the cap has come off inside the Pandora.
