F200 Nand Could It Be Used As Ram?

NAND is flash memory, Vista uses a magnetic harddrive. Harddrives are hardier than flash memory, as flash has a limited number of writes before it dies. :3

    Thats It Im Leaving !

Wow. People are being mature today. Remember, on the internet, the more eloquent you speak, the more likely you'll be taken seriously. When the roar of the internet is crying out "omfgmoarusux0r", perfect clarity rings true. That, and speaking deliberately broken english on the internet makes...

How Many People Didn,t Recieve Thier Gp2x This Xmas

People sure like to complain on these boards. It's Christmas, people! Give it time for the spirit of Christmas to arrive :) It doesn't have to be today, you know. :)

Why Can't The Gp2x Emulate The Ds?

The DS has 3D hardware. The GP2x does not. THe DS has hardware 2D accelleration. The GP2X does not. The DS has a ~90Mhz ARM processor. There wouldn't be enough processing time to run an adequate renderer while interpreting the data. That, and, you know - the DS is a current console. Buy one...

Ah, thankyou. :) I thought something was awry. QUOTE It began as a kind of debug thing, but I had some problem wihout it. Since it didn't bother me and I was lazy to fix it, I left it as it is. :) Could you add an option to turn it off (like, as a command line thing)? I don't really like...

Woo! I've been waiting for this :) How did you get the TV-Out to display 360x240, though? I thought it outputted the same resolution as the GP2x's LCD. In any case, awesome! :D What's next on the agenda? This release just gets better and better.

    Zeespace2x-0.1-2

Would it be possible, and if that, easy, to implement vertical aiming in a 2.5D engine? I mean, the engine could check if the "crosshair" (centre of the screen, mainly) intersected with the sprite you're shooting at, or something. I'm not sure how to explain it, but I'm sure it's possible somehow.

I think the touchscreen is by default a USB mouse, or it might return (x,y,pressure) coordinates. I'm not sure, but I have another question :) How would music be done? The music in Albion is simply MIDI, but from what I've seen of this program it doesn't seem to use any Linux libs? Would you...

QUOTE Khatoblepas: Almost no reverse engineering and no description of internal Albion workings was used. For rendering 360x240 screen on 320x240 I'm using some kind of interpolation. I don't know whether it has a name or not. I can describe it in detail if you're interested. I'm quite...

There has been no source code release, and I think he reverse engineered it himself. Though, there was some work done on building an Ambermoon engine earlier that is very similar in structure to Albion's engine. Also, I found some documents detailing the 3D engine mapping, and some of the XLD...

    Touch Screen....art Parcakg

Who's to say it can't? I've been looking up on how DPaint actually works (imbetween getting addicted to using ProMotion for all my pixel art - it's so awesome I may have to buy it) and it seems to be a simple case of getting alpha blending to work in an 8bit colour mode, mixed with simple...

You... you... you... you... did.. Albion? You.. you're kidding, right? This really can't be happening! :D Albion is my favorite RPG ever! I tested it out... and it works perfectly. This is so awesome I can't really comprehend it. o_O; Especially as it seems to have been released exactly on my...
