Roundup: Retro Computers In Your Browser

Pretty cool.  I also remember awhile back archive.org added a crap-ton of old PC games that were playable in-browser as well

    Longest living console?

I've bought 2 2600s online (4 switch and jr model)  they both work, although I've only owned them for a few years and not their whole lifespan. The NES my family had since ~88 still works I believe, but the original power adapter doesn't.  Haven't used it in years though, I have a Generation...

The biggest computer/gaming mistake you have ever made.

My worst gaming mistake was probably buying the e-reader for GBA. At the time I was starting to get really into the old NES games that my family had, games like Final Fantasy, Megaman 2, River City Ransom.  When I heard about the e-reader, my naive younger self thought oh man all those great...

    Atari Lynx Emulation

After months and months of research, (well, more like 2 hours), I've found that the documentation is incorrect for screen rotation.  It's actually F8 that rotates the screen, although it still keeps the same landscape screen ratio so it makes vertical movement really slow and horizontal movement...

Yet another of these: My ideas for a pandora 2

All in all, I like the ideas, hopefully the fixes will be focused on first. But since our first glimpses of the device through Craig's eyes show a very different device, the fixes may not even be necessary or relevant. [/SPOILER] I understand people's want for 4 shoulder buttons, after all PSX...

    Atari Lynx Emulation

That is exactly what I want.  :) The Pandora's design doesn't lend itself very nicely to be used sideways lol

    Shoulder Button Pad

Positive, I've opened up the Pandora and checked it out.  The button still clicks if pressed manually, but since there's no extra pad under the L button like the R, theres not enough there to press the switch down easily for the click

    Shoulder Button Pad

Ever since I got my Pandora, the left shoulder button always felt... mushy.  It works, but there's no click, it's like smushing the button makes it work.  I opened the Pandora up and found that unlike the right shoulder button, there was no little spongy pad under the left button.  Now I...

    Atari Lynx Emulation

Do either of the Lynx emulators support screen rotation? One of my favorite games for the Lynx is Gauntlet The Third Encounter and that runs in portrait orientation. Pretty odd to hold the Pandora sideways to play that.

    PSP IR port

The only non-homebrew thing I know of that the IR port was used for was to beam pictures to other PSPs. One homebrew game I remember basically turned the PSPs into sort of a laser tag type game, pretty fun. Another one I remember was a pong-type game where you bounced the ball between two...

    Windows 8 ARM on Pandora

First of all, I am NOT asking if it would be possible. Even on the 1Ghz units, I know that it wouldn't be powerful enough for a legitimate experience (maybe possibly someonthing like when people install new windows on way old PCs that barely can get it) That being said; In case you didn't...

    Release Adamant Armor Affection Adventure

This game sounds pretty cool, I'm gonna have to check this one out.

How to Win at E.T., the Video Game

All things considered, Pacman and E.T on 2600 aren't bad at all compared to a lot of the real big stinkers on the 2600. The main problem with those games is that they were massively over produced. Couple that with the fact that many of the sold copies were returned, it left Atari in a giant...
