    Gmenu2x V0.2 Released

I made a section for emulators too, and had a browse through the Nuvola icon set for something appropriate, as some of the icons Ryo supplies are taken from it. I couldn't really find an icon that said 'emulators' to me, so I settled on this cat. Aww!

    Squidgesnes V0.37a Released

Hmm, when I start Dragon Quest V the emulated screen jumps down, aligning itself with the bottom of the GP2X screen, leaving a line or two of flickering pixels at the top. In the translated rom, this happens after the translation information screen, but it happens with the vanilla rom too. Has...

    Nethack?

The Zaurus port uses Qtopia (an application platform used in some PDAs, based on Qt), so it's probably not a particularly good candidate for porting either. There are a couple of SDL frontends for NetHack though - there's a Debian package of the Slash'EM SDL interface (packages.debian.org is...

Headphones & Speakers Both On Problem Faq

You might have seen this already, as you replied to my first post on the thread, but I created a simple workaround program that toggles the speakers off/on for those too lazy to solder. Link to my post It's probably not optimal, but it works fine for me.

Speakers Stay On When Headphones Are Plugged In

I've created a workaround that I'm happy with. It's a program that switches the speakers off when they're on, and on when they're off. It can be run from the 'Utility' section of the GP2X menu. When run, it'll just dump you back to the main menu, but your speakers should be off/on as...

Speakers Stay On When Headphones Are Plugged In

Yeah, stereo works fine, and I can't see any way to push the plug in further. I've tried with about five pairs of headphones now, with no luck. I'll upgrade my firmware once I get an AC adapter, then e-mail GBAX if that doesn't change things.

Speakers Stay On When Headphones Are Plugged In

When I connect headphones to my GP2X they work, but sound continues to come from the speakers built into the unit. This has been reported in a couple of other threads, with the speculated cause being either poor soldering on the headphone jack or firmware problems. I noticed the 'Headphone jack...

    Weirdness With Headphone Port

I have the same problem with my new (firmware 1.0.1) GP2X. I've tried with three sets of headphones but the speakers stay on all the time. Everything seems to fit okay, and the jack doesn't feel loose. Previous threads on the problem seem divided on whether this is a hardware or software issue...

    Dc Adaptor Requirements?

By 'mod the plug' do you mean anything more complicated than using one of those travel adaptors? (The sort of thing that lets you use UK hairdryers in mainland Europe - they often get sold at airports)
