The Xbox can emulate 32X fullspeed so I would say it's possible but not likely... Too much work
I don't know what framerate should be on the real hardware but 3d games are playable...
I don't know much about that stuff either. But the ram is just used to hold information that can be fast accessed.
And I don't think anything can be as fast as the real ram in gp2x... It would be stupid to use the nand or a SD card.
Making the other CPU do other tasks like audio or video part...
Try http://www.autogk.me.uk/ ... It's really great.. It does everything for you...
Just set the screensize to GPx2 Screen size.. And you can change the final size of the video yousself.. very handy IMO
about quake, it's not that the gp2x can't handle quake, it's the way it's coded... If quake was design for the same CPU family that the GP2X has, it would allready run full speed. (maybe even on a gp32)
never mind ... it looks like it just a bad recording... the button pushing doesn't sync that well. It could be a hight bitrate video, if that's the case much work have been put into this.
With thelagg and all in gameplay..
Like 5 years ago, we got a new computer at home.. A 500mhz with no 3dcard.
It could emulate Mario 64 with very nice framerate..
I don't remember wich emu it was.
I know that you have to rewrite most of the code if the sourcecode is there, and maybe it's not...
Are there a N64 emu for pocket PC...
I will try it one my projetor... Right now watching movies in 720p HDTV resolutions from my Xbox rocks...
GPx2 might look great too, atleast for playing old classics..
The screensize is around 2m wide :D !!!
