    Psx Emu

OK... I think I read somewhere 2 fps... but maybe I missunderstood this text... "Mmmm... I just read that link about the competition, but I don't think I will do that contest, for the same previous reason (unfinished core). I used too much energies for releasing an incomplete product. Afterall...

    Psx Emu

Well I'm dreaming here but... It was about 2 fps on the GP32 emu? and that emu emulates a GP32 running in about 40 Mhz? at 166 Mhz would be about 8 fps... and with 2 frameskips a feeling about 20 fps... But I guess 2 fps was an estimation and not a fact maybe... and that was the best it could do...

    Amiga Emulator By Mr Mirko

Thought I look a bit on Fellow performance (was better optimized then UAE in its time I think...) and found this: "Intel systems running at 300 MHz have been tested running some of the most demanding games in real time, without missing a single frame." (Taken from Fellow "support" site)...

    Amiga Emulator By Mr Mirko

I still think an Amiga 500 that is almost 20 years now would be possible to emulate on a GP32 (with "playable" games)... A1200 and up is totally a different matter... but assembler is necessary... I loved my Amiga... Never had such a loving computer after it ended... almost like a relationship...

    Amiga Emulator By Mr Mirko

Well if a genesis emulator is not only possible but runs very good an Amiga 500 emulator must be possible... Memory wise Amiga 500 with 512 KB chipmem and 256 KB ROM it's about equal to Genesis memory of the 1 MB ROM... Graphics wise Genesis has a special GFX processor with very specifik tasks...

    GP32 Fpk Unpacking Source

Well, this one http://users.skynet.be/firefly/gp32/project/gpex/index.htm can do it in windows... maybe ask firefly for the source to make a GP32 version... Or you can make a script in windows and unpack it thru the card reader with this one?...

GP32 Need Some Folks To Help Dev Little Games...

Sounds good, I have done some programming in the past on the different computers but I always stayed away from C/C++ ... I do want to contribute something though to the GP32 community... this would be fun... I do have a couple of "easy" programming ideas... Is it possible to do a clone/remake...

    GP32 Xm-tracker For Gp32 In Dev?

Rov, that looks good! Too bad your GP32 broke down...

    GP32 Xm-tracker For Gp32 In Dev?

Rik, at first glance this looked alright! But when reading the documentation the first line says "OPENCP is a music file player." and I guess the tracks that you see in the screenshot is only viewing what is played I guess... But again... this could be the basis for a sequencer/tracker...

    GP32 Xm-tracker For Gp32 In Dev?

Ringo, I actually also looked at Amiga scene for sources (the Amiga had alot of "Soundtracker" like programs) but either the sources was not available or it was assembler sources so you have point! Don took a look at the SoundTracker for Unix so this might not be possible (because of too much...

    GP32 Xm-tracker For Gp32 In Dev?

Don, OK thanks... Amiga trackers are usually written ASM (had a couple of Amigas, actually still got a A1200 030@40Mhz) and although some sources (THX for example, C64 like tracker 4 channel chipsounds) exists it would be easier to write from scratch I think... The hard bit is already done...
