I saw photos on T.V I hope pictures like this will spread around so that people will start thinking with their conscious instead of their greed. I also heard that the Americans administration is afraid of such pictures being spread around and anti-war resentiment might rise again. I'm fully aware that many innocent Iraqi civilians are being injured and killed by US bombs, and that's horrific. Honestly, thoughts like this plague me every day... I do not consider myself truly pro- or anti-war, but that does not make me indifferent.
I would advise anyone in here especially young and sensitive members if you go to these sites, are aware you are going to see dead people.

That's bloody awful. I wish those images would be brodcasted and then there would be more strikes etc...
I think at the end of this war it will be looked back at like most wars and we'll here about the stuuf we didn't know before. This happens with all wars. Like the Japanese tortue in WW2 in which you'd soak a bamboo cane in water until it expanded. Then you'd put a mans testicles in it and it would slowly contract until it had a radius of about 1-2mm slowly through the day. Doesn't bear thinking about..........

I cant see the images since I'm at work. I think the UN should take a stronger role in Iraq but judging its previous experiences in Rwanda, and Kosovo - its not going to be easy. The only way the US forces in Iraq will get any law and order is by either being as brutal as the former regime or by enlisting the help of other arab nations in the area (unlikely). America has such a bad rep right now and Bush just confounds it. Also other things like the use of cluster bombs and mines (which practically every other nation on the planet has banned) and use of depleted uranium adds to this. It seems their idea of peackeeping is a fully laden A10 Thunderbolt and a packet of crisps/chips (whichever way you say it :)).

This will sound like a generalisation (please don't flame me :)), but the US as a force is just crap at "peacekeeping". They just bi-polarise opinion (you either love em or hate em) and I know they're trying hard, but they really need to hand over to other forces. A good example of peacekeeping would be the Brits in Sierra Leone or in the Balkans. I remember one, Wesley Clark (can't believe that monkey ran for prez) who wanted the brit forces in Kosovo to stand off against the Russians at Pristina airport and Col. Mike Jackson (Brit) uttered the immortal words: "I'm not f*ing starting world war III for you!"
