is it possible to get standard white shells from anywhere. or would my best bet be to get a broken GP32 and use its shell?

nope...i wish you could get em tho... cuz when i firest dyed my gp32 it looked like a REALLY dark brown...blech...i wanted to go back to white... but i decided to paint it black instead...i had searched my ass off and STILL couldn't find a shell...

i wonder if people were to "pool" money if we could get enuff cash to have a mold made...hmmmm....but, someone would prolly take the money and run, then i would have to go crazy and shoot them!

Does anyone know the ins and outs of molding. I'm sure that it is totally possible to take a mold of the GP32 case. This could be done in the color plastic of choice, and there would be no paint to worry about.

My dad is a mold finisher and works in a mold place, but I asked about something like that before and something like that too be made professionally would cost like a million dollars or something, but that was some guy at a job fair and if someone in here knows what they are doing and scanned the shell pieces and made exact copies into 3D models that would be great.

He tells his machine to cut the little fine parts out of it the giant mold for example the little letters saying pause and select. I really dont think that asking would do anything because it is very expensive to make a mold, why not ask gamepark if they can just put different color plastic inside the mold a couple times to sell extra color shells as a limited edition or something, they did it with the red joysticks so why not.

I can already tell you, a million dollars to make a professional mold is just a buncha caca-poo-poo.

My bro works at ABB (look it up, place that makes transformers and power plant parts) And his friend likes to ass around makeing stuff out of metal on the form machine (turns a disk of steel into a neatly carved model, right down to the finest centimeter) from models he brings from home.

It can be done, but I doubt anyone who owns such a machine will do it for free.

does anyone here have a wife that is into crafts ;)

seriously, you could PROBOBLY just cast your own mold to use what is called liquid plastic in, it is like epoxy in a way...i won't do this...i only have 1 gp32 :D but it would rock...

and again, we need some ninjas te break into gamepark, BORROW the mold, make a copy then return it...but on the way out get a few prototypes ;)

Why not just invent our own shell that is compatible with the insides of the GP32? Like I make a special custom wooden shell and sell it for 5 dollars.
or you could build a new handheld, sell it for a penny and make it out of bullshit, theres enough supply of it,
