well, I had read on the forums that some people had had problems with ver 0.4 and 0.3 was better, well, what the best

also, how do i set up the directory for little john in my gp32?

and its off topic and how do i set up free launcher ( whers it go and any folders? )

~Octavious

do you have gpdrive because that is the first thing that i would do

then you can open up your smc in explorer

then just drag littlejohn into the gpmm file

then you either make a folder with all your nes roms in it then drag

or you could just drag them in individually

its really easy once you get started

LJGPv04.fxe goes in GPMM folder.
Your ROMs and Nestoy database go in GPMM\NES folder.

Your ROMs can be zipped up individually but make sure there are no other files in the zip file with your ROM.

You need to install FreeLauncher through the PC Link software:
1) Connect your GP32 to your PC with link cable
2) Switch on GP32 and select PC link mode
3) Run PC Link app on your PC
4) Click File, Install and then browse and find the Freelauncher file you downloaded from the Gamepark website. Then click OK

Free Launcher should now be installed.

Thx for the news about the Nestoy database! Guess that means my only major niggle about LJGP32 is solved. Best delete Nester off my SMC then...

Btw, as its unlikely that Yoyo will release a 0.5 - is anyone interested in having a copy of version 0.4 with the icon I did for him?

can somebody please explain how do i exactly use this nestoy thingy
cause when i downloaded it i got a whole bunch of files in a zip.
am i supposed to put all of em in to my smc?

Hmm, he posted recently saying he was going to work on it some more (about a week ago)

Hi, yoyofr here!
[...] but as lately I'm back to some littlejohn coding, I guess it's time to fix those issues!

This was on March 16, just about a week ago

To use the nestoy database, simply take nesdbase.dat and put it in your gpmm/nes/ directory (where you have your nes ROMS).

Load up little john, and choose the Analyze Cached roms option.

Its a good idea to use nestoy on all your roms first, however, to fix bad headers, and give you a list of bad dumps, over dumps, etc... so they all work in the database.

To do this, extract the files from the nestoy zip into a directory, navigate to that directory in a dos box, and type
nestoy -doall "c:\my\nes\roms\dir\"
